Ok. The acting compony I am in is doing a production of Annie exclaim . I am a good singer (or so I am told) but I don't know what song I should sing. I am thinking of singing Maybe but I also want to do something interesting that takes alot of talent 3nodding . See my acting compony is the only one in my state outside of schools so it runs a little odd. confused They cast you based on how long you have been in the compony and what your last part was (so if you just joined or you're last part was big it will be hard to get a main part). The last play i was in was Charolette's Web and I was Fern xp . It was not the biggest of parts but it is enough to keep me from getting the part of Annie unless I sing amazingly sweatdrop . And to sing amazingly I need a good song. I really need help on this so it would be really nice if you had any ideias if you would tell me. Thanks so much!

hmm.......thats hard. i dont know. i have that same problem with our school play Mulan coming up in the fall. I WANNA BE IN A MUSICAL!!! anyway, enough about my problems.....(lol!!) hmm.....how long does the audition run?? well, since this is annie, i would definatly suggest the song "Tomorrow". That is a classic Annie song!! or, (although im not sure if this song is in the play or movie) "Lets Go To The Movies". My dance school danced to it and we kinda had to sing.

If You're Auditioning For Annie, Don't Do An Annie Song. Find A Song That You Know Inside And Out That You're Totally Confident In Performing. Thats What I Always Do

When I auditioned for RENT, we were required to do a song by the character we were auditioning for, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's a requirement.

Oh the auditions start at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM on september 8th or something. He reads you're name off a list off names and you come in and sing. I think I might ask my friend alice to sing Take Me or Leave Me with me... but I'm not shure. I dont think they let people audition together... They might. I'm also thinking about singing the last part of Seasons of Love. I can hit the note but I don't know if I should sing it...

sing something lively or dramatic,
Mama Who Bore Me for Dramatic
and i have so many funny songs that r from avenue q, but 2 innapropriate.
Also there's a song called Eidle Weiss that anybody sings, personally, I don't like singing public domain songs for auditions, it's like going up on stage in front of millions of people singing: "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

I had the worst nightmare last night. I tried out for Annie so I sung Maybe but there was a problem. I didnt know the song. It was a differnt version and I didn't know the words. I was so scared. I woke up before I knew if I got the part.
