It confused me at first, but when you use acid trip as a desciption
I begin to understand what it could mean.
anyhoo, I love the beginning, It's a different kind of video.

Well, I somewhat revise my opinion:
The video is a total Acid Trip (whether or not it's a metaphor for actual drug use remains a mystery) but it's also a typical 80's video.
80's videos made no sense and were super colorful like that.
It's just strikes us as strange 'cause we're used to plots and shiz.
No matter how weird it is, it fits the song.

I loved the video. A lot. Its a lot diferent from some of their other videos, and thats good that they are willing to do something completly diferent.
I loved all the colors, the 80's of it, and the acid trip.
And their clothes. xDD
And I loved J* in it.
