Story Line

Kyo Sohma was recently in an accident involving fangs and blood sucking...Now Kyo not only has one deep dark secret he wants nobody else to know about but two. Having a Zodiac curse just wasn't good enough for the world, Kyo had been bitten by a full blood vampire out of nowhere and is now transforming into a half-blood.

Not knowing what changes were happening to his body, Kyo had gone on a date with his crush/girlfriend, Torhu Honda. Unfortunately for both, Kyo's lust for blood had reached a peak and his newly "injected" instint took over... That's right, he bit her.

Torhu, completely freaked out to her limit's end, ran off, bleeding, to Yuki who then told Akito. The evil God of the Zodiac, thought that a perfect punishment would be to seperate him from his lover forever(... it's not like she wanted to be with him any more any ways!). Picking a random Vampire admitting school Kyo has been inrolled to finish high school at Cross Academy.

Headmaster Cross has finally decided that Yuuki alone can not keep the Night Class under control, protect the Day class, and look after Zero. He is now holding interviews looking for two new Diciplinary Committee Members. When he gets a call from Akito, saying that he wished to inroll a new Vampire with an odd curse which required heavy guarding, Headmaster Cross decided to add three instead of two.

Name:Kyo Sohma
Bio/Personality:Kyo is the cat, an animal not in the zodiac, but which legend says would have been if it had not been tricked by the rat into missing the induction feast. Kyo hates Yuki and is determined to defeat him before high school ends. After the alleged suicide of his mother, and abandonment of his father, Kyo has hated Yuki for everything wrong with his life. He made a bet with Akito: if he defeats Yuki before he finishes high school, he'll officially be accepted along with the other Jyuunishi by the Sohmas. If he does not, however, Kyo would be forced to live in a small room, the neko/cat room, within the Sohma estate for the rest of his life, which means being locked up in a cage made specially for the cat Jyuunishi. Despite many months of strict training, Kyo has never managed to even land a decent blow on Yuki. Kyo runs away even from the people that want to help him, because he is ashamed of his true form, which he turns into when his rosary bead bracelet made from the bones of a miko (the red ones are blood stained) is removed. When Tohru sees his true form, however, she still accepts him and begs him to stay with her, which forms a bond of sorts between the two. He wants to be appreciated and be special like Yuki. Orange is his natural hair color; a fact proven by Haru. Tohru's favorite zodiac animal, as a child, was the cat. The kanji "夾(kyo)" means 'between' in the Japanese linguistics though the character do not have an especially significant and is not so used without radical or other characters. Name:Yuuki Cross
Bio/Personality:The adoptive daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, Yuuki is a member of the school's disciplinary committee (public morals committee in Japanese), which is the 'front' for the Guardians. Ten years prior to the events of "Vampire Knight," Yuuki was attacked by a vampire, but was rescued by Kaname. She has lost all memory of her life before the attack, and Headmaster Cross took her in as his own daughter. Yuuki loves Kaname, and even though she has witnessed his vampiric nature when he bit Ruka, she still couldn't stop loving him. However, she has also started to let Zero, a childhood friend, drink her blood, hoping to save him from madness. Yuuki is cheerful and easygoing, and thanks to her work as a Guardian she is good at keeping her cool in sticky situations. There have been hints that she is special, given that vampires are especially drawn to her blood. Her weapon of choice is the "Artemis Rod," an extensible staff she received from Headmaster Cross. Name: Zero Kiryu
Bio/Personality: Yuuki's childhood friend, Zero is also a Guardian and likewise on the disciplinary committee. Yuuki has been taking care of him as her little brother since he was brought into their home (the Headmaster's). His family, a line of vampire hunters, was murdered by the pureblood vampire Shizuka Hio when he was young. He harbors a deep hatred for vampires and claims to have taken on the role of Guardian to learn to hunt them better. In truth, Zero was bitten during the attack on his family, and have kept the secret that he was a vampire from Yuuki until he was no longer capable of controlling his vampiric urges. Zero's body rejects the blood tablets that most vampires take to control their hunger. Drinking Yuuki's blood helps him maintain his sanity, but he is destined to become a Level E vampire eventually. However, he has drunk some of Kaname's blood whom offered to Zero, which delayed the process of becoming a level E and made the shadows of insanity become distant. He has started to accept his feelings towards Yuuki and has gone as far as to almost kiss her. Zero's weapon is the gun "Bloody Rose," given to him by Headmaster Cross. Name:Kaname Kuran
Bio/Personality:A pureblood vampire. He saved Yuuki from an attack by another vampire when she was little. Kaname is the class president of the Night Class, much feared and respected by the other Night Class students. While he is cold and authoritative towards his fellows in the Night Class, he is always kind and sweet to Yuuki. He has shown that he cares deeply for Yuuki ever since he saved her, and loves her in a romantic sense. (He allows Zero to live because he knows his death would sadden Yuuki). Kaname also asked Yuuki to become a vampire and live with him for all eternity by his side, but manages to stop himself from biting her. He is both jealous and angry with Zero for biting Yuki and endangering her life. He also seems to know the pureblood who bit Zero, Shizuka Hio, and later kills her before drinking her blood to protect Yuuki, in spite of it being a terrible taboo. However, after the incident, the supiscion fell to Zero and Kaname saved Zero from the assasins. Kaname confessed his love to Yuuki, and allowed Zero to drink his blood to delay his descent into Level E, to protect Yuuki, and get rid of one of her worries. Recent chapters show he knows about Yuuki's past but will not tell her for her sake. (all credit to Wikipedia.org)

Name:Headmaster Cross
Bio/Personality:Yuuki's adoptive parent, who also took Zero into his home several years ago. Headmaster Cross dreams of peace between humans and vampires, and established the Night Class to promote understanding between the two races. Although he is often eccentric, he has a serious side as well. It is revealed that he is a former vampire hunter. Also seems to be close to Kaname, and seems to know Kaname's parents(whom are dead and founded the peace treaty) since he's indebted to them. (all credit to Wikipedia.org)

Jamie was sitting outside Headmaster Cross's office with a couple of other kids. She was waiting in line for a job interview. Nobody was really sure what it was for, but it paid well and Jamie didn't feel like passing up the cash. On top of that there was a rumor going around that the job position had something to do with the Night Class.

Jamie couldn't wait. Nervously she pulled her red curls over her shoulder and began to pull them. Watching them spring back into place as her friends did during the school day. It reminded her of them and gave her the courage to NOT get up and run in the other direction.

There was something weird about the Night Class. Something not quite right and it kind of creeped Jamie out. And yet that same fear drew her closer. She felt that there was a LARGE chance that this time around curiosity was going to kill this cat.

Late, late, late. Why did Cross Academy have to be so fricken big. It was only Sofie's fourth day at school and she still didn't know the campus very well, and now she was late for a meeting with the head master about the job position available. What if he wouldn't take her now! She really needed the money.

Sofie came to a halt outside the headmaster's door. THere was already another girl sitting outside in one of the chairs. "Um, are you here about the job opening too?" she asked a little shy.

Sofie smiled at the girl's apparent friendlyness. "I don't know," she said taking a seat next to the girl. "I just saw the aid in the caffiteara and thought it might be a good oppertunity. I'm Sofie by the way. I just started here about four days ago." Sofie didn't add that she was in desperate need of friends.
