Chapter 1


Aogi and Kihaku are twins born from their mother Riku Niwa. They were born on December 25th at 6:32 p.m. and 6:37 p.m. on the same day. Aogi was the first born baby boy and Kihaku was the second born baby girl to the parents of 28 year olds Riku and Daisuke Niwa. Daisuke and Riku were happy about their wonderful news. First, Kihaku was 6 pounds and 3 ounces, and Aogi was 7 pounds and an ounce, once they got the news from the nurse; Daisuke, Daisuke's mother and father Emiko and Kosuke, Daisuke's grandfather Daiki, and Risa and her husband, and the last surprise was Risa and Riku's mother. When they visited the twins they were in awe. Then 13 years later, a week before their birthday they were trained by their great-grandfather and their own father to be train hard before the time to start. Even if Kihaku couldn't become Dark, she still was trained as Aogi who would become the next Dark in the family; Daisuke told Aogi when he was 11 years old he was training for being able to know Dark's movements. Riku came outside and watch her children train hard. Time only gave Aogi less than 10 days to train even though he was trained with his sister since they were 6 years old and ever since they worked non-stop after-school, training.

At school, Kihaku does sports like her mother always did but still had to dress like a school-girl, as Aogi got his father's passion to become a good artist in the Art Club and become Dark. One day it was after school and Kihaku felt light-headed. Aogi took her to the nurse's office and then got back home. At 5 minutes, Aogi would experience the life his father lives since after Riku admitted her feelings, it was their only son's turn to live that life. At Aogi and Kihaku's school there is this girl name Shizuku, Shizuku Komadori and her older sibling Tristan Komadori, he was born in the USA, while his sister was born in Tokyo her whole life. While her older brother lives in the US with their relatives, she's here with grandmother and grandfather that live in Tokyo with her. Shizuku is the most lively, popular, talkative, and funny girl in Azumano Middle. Shizuku never hated Aogi; she just thought Aogi was too quiet and shy to make her more popular. The first day or literally, at night, was when Aogi thought of Shizuku and at that moment, Aogi felt hot then started to sweat then transformed. "Mom, Dad, Kihaku! Look at me! I am...Dark!!" Emiko cries at her grandson. "Oh! You look so like your father! Heh."

Daisuke turned nervous and embarrassed but then Riku came in. "So that's what happens...when they turned 14, they changed into the Phantom Thief Dark. But I thought Dark was cute but a big pervert at the same time when he stole my first kiss!" Daiki starts to laugh. Daisuke gets embarrassed. "Yeah, Riku I didn't really kiss you but Dark kissed you to calm down...then he made me transform back into myself." Riku jumps to Daisuke. "I still love you though Daisuke no matter what!"

Emiko comes with the costume for her grandson. "Here this is for you Aogi...I mean Dark Mousy!" Aogi felt weird but he was already to go to his mission to take the painting from the museum. "Here your target Aogi...this painting, The Musk of Love." Then Aogi's voice changed into Dark's. "I understand Emiko, and hello Riku and Daisuke." Emiko smiles at Dark.

"Daisuke I see...you and your love are together. Anyways, how's Risa?" Riku replies to Dark's question. "She's...moved on with life and just got proposed to her future husband Xavier." Emiko points to the clock. "COME ON DARK YOU GOT 5 MINUTES TO STEAL THAT PAINTING!" Dark pats With's head. "Let's go pal!"

Kihaku sensed his movements. "I got a gift and I track down Dark's movements somehow...and have Dark's back just in case too." Daisuke interrupts his daughter. "But a fair warning that Satoshi's daughter Kyuui Hikari (Hiwatari) is in this area too. Kyuui is a commander under her father's command of the police corps and tries to back up her own father because he still trying to control Krad’s power, that is still inside his body." Kihaku smiles without worry. "I get the warning dad, besides, Kyuui and I are enemies for Yukai Shisetsu anyways, and our family is against them." Kihaku disappears in the darkness following Dark's mission.
