I finaly learned how to use boddy shop to do recollores!
the thing that no one had the time or the will or what ever to tell me was that
after you export your image and name it
Body shop creates a folder inside EA GAMES/Sims2/Projects
you have to open this folder and open the folder in the art program
make changes
save, dont save as its ok ot over write this file it wont effect the game
untill after you refresh and hit export to game
this is the corect wat to answer my "how2 do you do recolores" question
a few extra notes
I dont know how to do pet fur recollors
and I dont have the stuff or skills for making meshes
I also have not tried object recollores becouse I dont know how to preview objects as thum nails. I have too many objects on my list to randomly chose one and hope its the one I want. and then recolor it. its a whole other thing I need to learn
cutem painings are easy just place any jpeg in the EA Games/Sims 2/custem paintings folder
the answer to another question I wasnt get ing answered.
any how since I cant mesh Im woundering who can? or were can one find a lot of meshes?
also an important side note, dont ask out side of this guild for people to make things for you, it doesnt go over vvery well when you ask things like that.

Man I'd kill to be able to make some decent recolours but all I am stuck with is crappy MSPaint.
*dreams of owning photoshop*

i now know how to download custom items. i got a few cars and an alienware computer.
