Tears of Blood
Tears of blood stream down my face
As my heart begins to cry
Locked away, alone it seems
Always asking, why?
Crimson tears cascade down
My silent agony
Giving up on long lost dreams
My heart begins to bleed
A bloody rose forms on my desk
As tears slip off my face
An emptiness inside my chest
A broken, empty place
As silent tears slide slowly down
A hand creeps to my chest
To find the icy dagger
That has laid my heart to rest
I wish these tears would take away
Some small amount of pain
And leave me with a happy place
Far from this bloody rain

It seriously makes me speechless. It is really good, the metaphors are beautiful. Good job man, and keep it up.

I'm so tired of being lonely
In cold, dark emptiness
I'm dead and gone and broken
I live life pationless
Everything I care for hurts
It cuts mke deep inside
I have nothing left to live for
And in no one to confide
I cry every night and day
Hot tears burn my eyes
I stare upward unknowing
Into a blank, grey sky
I cringe in pain with every thought
About those that I love
I feel so helpless deep inside
A little, lost, broken dove
I hope someday I'll find my wings
Then maybe I'll fly free
Even now I know, with a grave certainty
There will be no one beside me.

I'm not too sure about this one, I don't know if I like it... I'm locked away inside my mind
Upon a sunless beach
Praying to my hopeless dreams
That I simply cannot reach
Closed up tight inside my mind
I only break down and cry
I simply can not break out
No matter how I try
Thrust away in shadow
A silent, dark abyss
I was once so joyous
What has gone amiss?
Happiness is now long gone
A distant memory
But hope remains
In her sweet face
She just might set me free

omfg!!!!I LOVE THAT 1!!!!!!!!!it reminded me of one of the last scenes in kingdom hearts 2! it's truely spoken from the heart!

Wow! I never thought that anything I wrote would gain so much praise....Thank you so much! I hope to write more soon.(My life's a mess at the moment) I'm also going to open a free for all section where everyone can post and discuss any poem they find, as long as due credit is given. Well, now I have another. This is rougher than the first ones, and not entirely finished. I wanted to post what I had and seek possible advice. (For some reason, I kept hearing this sung in Amy Lee's voice) Black Velvet
I feel my tears a falling
And sense the darkness calling
The all consuming blackness
Numbs my soul
It silences my feelings
And keeps my heart from reeling
From all the pain
It’s what I’ll always know
Serenity and softness
I don’t feel so heartless
It’s giving me back
Some humanity
I’m wrapped up in a blanket
I took the pain and sank it
It shelters me
From everything I feel
I’ve hidden my heart for certain
Behind a velvet curtain
