Spoiler Warning: This is set after the 7th book and spoilers may come up. If you have not read the 7th book yet, I suggest you don't join this rp.It's a hundred years after Lord Voldemort has been defeated and Harry Potter and everything& everyone along with his story is in the History books. Everything seems to be under control in the wizarding world. Your character and their family does not know this, but :Unknowing to most people there is a new Dark Lord rising. He is recruiting any pureblood that he can, and plans to overthrow the Ministry and reveal the Wizarding world. Eventually this Dark Lord hopes to control the whole world, wizards dominating muggles. At the moment he remains in the shadows, and almost no one is aware of him. {it'll be a similar plot, and even more as it goes on, don't like it, don't join. (horocruxs&all, but no boy that lived or anything}. Death Eaters&Phoenix members ---> not many yet, so not too many parents should be. No DA yet, and when there is one it'll go by a dif name. You character is a 1st year attending Hogwarts. You may godmod your character's family as well, and bring in other random characters. The Hogwarts ghosts are the same, as well as Peeves {and everyone may godmod them}. There are new, different teachers, which only I will godmod at least for the moment {If you wanna suggest a certain professor, pm me or in ooc thread} {you can loosely godmod teachers, except the DADA&Flying one for now} All of the shopkeepers have changed{you can godmod}, and the new Wand store is Revan's Wands. LONG TERM RP! It'll span over 7 years, and the first few will be relatively normal. Make the commitment, or don't join. Your character should be true to their houses' traits. You get to pick which house they are in, so do so wisely. Slytherin will only accept purebloods, I know there were exceptions in the book, but during this era that is how it is. Orphans will be limited, 1st years may not have brooms, twins are welcomed, characters should act their age and use age/year appropriate spells, items such as invisibility cloaks, time turners, and the like will not be allowed with out permission from me, and I will be also playing the Headmaster {Dorsting}. There are still pure blood families that are "in high places," and prejudice of blood purity fully exists. Remember no power-hungry Slytherin and brave Gryffindor are gonna be best buddies, or a bookworm Ravenclaw and friendly Hufflepuff gonna be besties either. Yeah they'll be exceptions {Snape&Lily, etc}. The feud between the houses started by the founders still exists, but it's mostly Slytherins verse the rest. No relation to canon characters, and you may not use Potter, Weasley, Granger, etc{Pets can be named whatever, I don't care}.No Animagus and/or Parselmouths, etc... unless I give you permission - unlikely. No Americans, sorry, they have their own school. Only those who live in The United Kingdom and The Republic of Ireland. To receive the letter from Hogwarts your character will have to be 11 on or before August 31st. • Romance (no cybering) & violence encouraged, please keep swearing to a minimum. PG-13! • No PP or GM. Your character must have flaws & weaknesses. • Notice the word literacy in the title of this thread? I want at the least a full paragraph each post, which is 4-6 complete sentences. I understand writer's block can haunt, but even then, at least 2 complete sentences. No one-liners. Blood type: Pure Blood {nonetheless, a blood traitor like her brother and sister.}
Pet: Medium-sized snowy owl, Lin. She has dark green eyes and is fairly intelligent.
Appearance: Amelia has green eyes and curly, blonde hair with natural orange-brownish highlights that is often sported in pig-tails. She has a slender and strong build but she is on the shorter end. Her skin would be considered pale before tan, and she has freckles across her cheeks and her nose.
History: Really long so go here.
Personality: Amelia is a true Gryffindor favoring courage, boldness, and chivalry. She is very strong, brave, and strong-willed, especially when it comes to fighting with or without magic. In a heartbeat she would give her life for someone she holds close. She has a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for adventure, yet she has a hint of rash likelihood and sometimes has trouble controlling her emotions. She can be childish, rebellious, feisty, defensive, and ambitious. While Amelia is a pure blood she bears no prejudice against half-bloods or muggles, rebelling against her parents. She takes schoolwork very seriously, and it shows as she comes off as an annoying, bossy, know-it-all, but lacks social maturity. She does not have as much natural intelligence as her sister, but because of her study and memorizing habits she is easily one of the smartest witches in her year. She has however stated more than once "intelligence is far from everything". She is grounded, most at times practical, but sometimes in an overboard way. She is very competitive in all academic activities, and hates to be wrong at anything, and this brings out her "dark side". However she is quite insecure and tends to project a false confidence. In gaining some true confidence and true friends, she would definitely lighten up and show more of her true colors. While she encourages others to stick to rules {and attempts very much to follows them herself}, and not do "stupid" things, she is always up for an adventure. She doesn't care much for the idea of flying on a broom either {she's terrified of heights}, while her younger sister has many times stolen her brother's broom for a joyride. Amelia is fluent in English, and knows bits and pieces of French.

Pet: A sleek, handsome black cat named Severus. He is half Kneazle, given to her as a gift by a good friend at a young age. He is more of a paternal figure to her, and constantly orders her around, or so Sarah claims.
Appearance: Average height, pale, clear skin, wide silver moon eyes, and
straight brown hair, the color of tree bark. A large scar has been long carved deeply into her back by some sort of dark energy.
Personality: Sarah is a very bright, cheerful girl, who almost always wears a smile. She gives off the air of a motherly figure, as she has more or less taken on that role within her own family. She has a cool temperament, and will almost never show anger or fear. Sarah's loyalty lies with her friends to the end. She will only fight if one of her friends is in danger Has the tenancy to refer to everyone, even teachers, by their first name. She excels in most alchemy-based classes like Potions and Runes, though has trouble with Charms. Although she gives off a sweet disposition, there is clearly something dark about her. No one would ever guess that the Sorting Hat suggested she become a Slytherin.

Appearance: Combed blonde hair and blue eyes are the first noticed features of Michael. His build is long and lanky, which contribute to his clumsiness.
Personality: Michael is loyal to his friends and ferocious to his enemies. He has a cheery disposition, and is an optimist. He is brave, but shy, and loves adventure. He certainly doesn't have a high level of intelligence, but he gets by and has fun. He tends to be a rule-breaker and intends to live his life to the fullest. Mike is enthusiastic at being a wizard, and looks forward to his years at Hogwarts and in the wizarding world.
History: Michael grew up completely unaware of the wizarding world. His father was in the business world and his mother a stay-at-home mom. Michael had 2 older sisters and 1 younger one (Michelle). When he got his letter it was a complete shock. It brought jealousy from one sister (Maya), and disgust from the other(Mina). His father seemed to care not one bit, as how he reacted to everything. His mother was only thinking about how she'd lose her "baby boy" for 10 months each year for the next 7 years. Somewhat reluctantly, Michael's mother decided to let him go because of his enthusiasm over the idea. His mother accompanied him to Diagon Alley to purchase his school supplies, and both got quite the culture shock. Now he is starting his career as a Hogwarts student. So far, his 8-year old sister had shown no signs of magic. However, Michael was able to keep his gift unknowingly hidden from his family, so who knows what is in the future for Michelle.

Pet: Beccari the Black Tree Monitor who has a distinctive personality.
Appearance: Dark neat hair, and eyes that match in color. Slightly taller than average for his age, and of medium and muscular build.
Personality: Izzy doesn't have much of his own personality as it as molded by his uncle. He has an extreme hate for muggle-borns, and doesn't care for squibs, half-bloods, or blood-traitors either. While he appears intimidating, he is quite a wimp. He puts on a perfect act to teachers, yet is nasty to anyone out of his house. He's a tattle-tale, but will go on breaking the rules himself. He bosses around the weaker in his year and house {Tupac&Tenoch&Myee} like his little minions. He doesn't care much for school except Defense Against the Dark Arts, and it is more the Dark Arts part he is interested in. His ambition is to become a death eater like his uncle.
History: Izzy was born to two Hufflepuff pure-bloods. His dad was considered the "black sheep" of his family, because the rest of his family were proud pure blood Slytherins.His dad took no follow in the career of becoming a death eater. Appearance: Standing at 5'7 and weighing 110 lbs Cee-Cee has the body and dancer would strive for. Cee-Cee has dark brown shoulder length hair, and dark hazel eyes that seem to shine whenever she dances.
Personality: Cee-Cee is as easy going and patient as a person can get. It takes alot to throw her off, which means you can always count on seeing a smile upon her face. She's very outgoing and makes friends as easily as a ballerina can dance. Yet, like most people with her personality Cee-Cee often bottles up all of her negative emotions inside of her making her a very fearsome person to be around if angered.
Though the sorting hat's first choice was to put her in Slytherin for her cunning and ambition, Cee-Cee was ultimately chosen to Ravenclaw for her wit and intelligence. She's a very fast learner and has the memory of an elephant.
History: Cee-Cee is the decedent of a long line of pure bloods who as rumors go had once been death eaters. Despite this, Cee-Cee is a very cheerful and outgoing girl who loves to dance. Unlike most witches her age, Cee-Cee hadn't wanted to be a witch. Instead she had wanted to become a a great dancer as her mother had done years before she met her father, but when the letter from Hogwarts arrived Cee-Cee was persuaded to join by her parents who wanted her to become a powerful witch.

History: Mia's paternal grandparents are muggles, so she is deemed a half-blood. Both of her parents were also Hufflepuffs and Mia is a mini of her mom. She is an only child, and quite spoiled, but she is not bratty about it.

Pet: Maya a cat thats completely white. He was found with it at the Senil's doorstep
Appearance: He has short black hair, and pale white skin. He has big blue eyes, and a small nose. Hes short and scrawny.
Personality: He is naturally kind. He is also very stubborn and often a bit of a smart alack. He is a teachers pet but very social. His favorite subject is transformation and his least favorite herbology.
History: He was found on the doorstep of two kind muggles house, the Senils .They were a poor family with no children but gladly took him in. They raised him well after his 9'th birthday the couple noticed that all of a sudden they were having unnatural luck. First they won a lottery, then the father was offered the job of a lifetime as a company CEO who accidentally found his resume. Then one day a letter sealed with a red insignia arrived at their doorstep. It was a letter inviting Leo to hogwarts...Kiora&Kylie Aeno - spoke among themselves, giggling constantly. Only our father is a muggle." Kiora replied."Our mother was a wizard, unknown to our father." Kylie picked up."And she - she died in childbirth.""But our grandfather told us all about her when we got our letters.""Our father couldn't, he didn't know. But he is quite thrilled about the idea of a wizarding world."

Myee - bosses around the other 4 girls in her house, like Isaiah with T&T. Maria doesn't take it though.
Peter Barrie - don't worry about him, he's mine to deal with. Amelia's Peter Pan cause I couldn't resist biggrin He's an orphan, lives on the street going from shelter to shelter.
Aden and Kailas obviously grew up in the wizarding world. Nicholas didn't.

"Alright, here we are." Timothy, Amelia's older brother guided the gang of the two, plus Anya and Mary to between Platforms 9 and 10.
"So I just run through?" Amelia glanced at her brother skeptically. He nodded as Mary, Timothy's fiance, went through with Anya, Amelia's younger sister, who was holding Lin's cage. Amelia looked around at the passing muggles."Won't they notice?" She asked, nodding towards them. Timothy shook his head then disappeared into the wall.
Amelia shrugged and looked around at the station one last time. /I'm finally going to Hogwarts,/ she thought with glee.

Tension filled the air as busy muggles passed hurriedly across King's Cross station to get tot heir trains. Almost everyone had an anxious look on their face. Amidst the crown stood an ordinary looking 11 year old girl with plain brown hair and gray eyes. A simple brown jacket was placed over her pale shoulders, and she wore along with it a bland faded tee shirt and baggy flared jeans. Around her ankles stood a dignified black cat who stared down the crowd as if it were a form of parasite. "I don't see the point of them even existing." The cat continued, though no one else around them seemed to hear it. The girl and the cat might as well have been joined by telepathy. "They're so..." He folded his ears back and glared. "Filthy!"
The girl's cold eyes followed the actions of her companion with an icy stare. "They're muggles." She thought back to him as he looked up from his seething. "Severus, you shouldn't be so hard on them. After all, I'm closer to them than any other witch or wizard here, I'd wager." The cat looked taken aback as his apprentice started toward platform Nine and Three Quarters. "You know I didn't mean that..." He added. "But you aren't like them, Sarah. You're unique." Sarah stopped in mid step and frowned. "Only to you." She scanned the crowd for other poorly dressed muggle impersonators. Perhaps she did not have to enter alone on her first time.
Her eyes widened further as she saw a boy disappear between platforms nine and ten, another girl apparently traveling with him. She hurried her step a little more until she had nearly reached the platform.  end. <3

Amelia was about to run through with her trolley when she noticed a girl with a cat approach the platform. She just had to be going to Hogwarts, she quite looked out of place. "Hey, are you going to Hogwarts too?" Amelia hoped the girl was, or she would be making a huge fool of herself.
It seemed to her the girl was actually communicating with the cat, but that didn't seem practical, so Amy tried to ignore the idea.
Amelia once again looked around at the muggles and realized they hadn't noticed her brother or sister or Mary going through. She kind of felt bad for them, that they were missing out on such a great world.

A small grin was etched int Sarah's expression. Severus sighed as best a cat could sigh as his apprentice ran forward and pulled this new girl into a fast hug, pulled out of it, and shook her hand enthusiastically. She was always so kind to those she had never met.
"Why, yes I am! Sarah Cameron, at your service." She beamed. "And you are?"
Severus trotted along toward the platform and sat patiently beside the entrance while Sarah was having fun being social. His elegant tail curled around the rest of his body anxiously. end. <3

Sarah's out-going friendliness caught Amelia off guard for a moment, but soon she was shaking her hand, smiling back. "I'm Amelia Forest. This is my first time, and my family is waiting for me on the other side, so I better get going. We have to run through that wall." She pointed, although it was quite obvious what she meant.
Amy got back behind her trolley and pushed it through, taking the wall at a run, "come on," she called back to Sarah.
Within moments she was next to the Hogwarts Express. Her eyes widened in amazement at the site. Anya then came out of no where, "here ya go," Anya put Lin's cage on top of the trolley, and ran off alongside of the Express, apparently amused. Amelia then spotted Mary as she motioned to Timothy that she'd go get Anya.
"Well, are you ready kiddo?" Timothy looked down at his sister, noting her excitement.
"Yes, but first there is someone I want you to meet." She looked around to see if Sarah had come through yet.

Sarah sprinted towards the entrance, but tripped on her baggy muggle jeans. Severus snorted. "Get up, foolish child." He thought, watching a blushing Sarah scramble back to her feet. "Now, just dive in. There's no need to panic." His instructions seemed to ease her mind, and she headed right through the wall, and onto the other side while her Master followed.
The scene was so bright and cheerful, the girl's eyes drifted from one area to another. Though her sister had come here before, she'd never been allowed while her mother saw to it. It was a minute or so before she remembered Amelia. Her pale face flushed a bright pink as she turned to whom she considered a new friend, and her traveling companion who she had not yet met, but could not wait to. She waved cheerfully toward the two and smiled. end. <3

Amelia spotted Sarah, and she pulled her brother towards her. "This is Sarah, Sarah, this is my brother Timothy. My sister, Anya, is somewhere around here with his," she motioned towards her brother, "fiance."
Sure enough Mary came around dragging Anya with her, "hi there Sarah." Mary had apparently heard Amelia say her name. "You two better get going, it's almost 11 o'clock." Amelia nodded, hugs were exchanged, and she made her way to the Express, clutching her luggage and Lin's cage.
"You better write back," Timothy reminded Amelia of her earlier promise. She nodded again, and motioned for Sarah to follow her onto the train.

Sarah's expression softened as Amelia's family came to greet her. She waited for her cat to go ahead of her as a courtesy, and followed her new companion and Master onto the train. "It's a pity your father couldn't be here." Severus thought. "He would have been so proud of his daughter." Sarah nodded quietly, all the while looking out the windows of the train as she passed each compartment. "He has his job at the ministry to take care of." She answered. "He should think of more important things, anyway. Students get accepted to Hogwarts all the time." The cat looked up at her looking content. "But not Squibs. They think you've got the stuff! You shouldn't be too hard on yourself." end. <3

Amelia seemed quite thrilled about making a friend so quickly and her disposition was rather cheery. As she looked for a compartment, she noticed Sarah was talking to her cat once again, and once again, Amy refrained from questioning it.
Once she rid herself of her luggage, and found an empty compartment, she changed into her Hogwarts robes. "So Sarah, did you come all alone?" Amelia had noticed Sarah seemed quite alone, besides for her cat.

"Of course not!" She answered merrily, gesturing toward her cat. "I came here with Severus." She opened another compartment, and quickly slipped her robes on, as well as an odd wooden wheel with etchings of decorative circles all over it to her left wrist.
A book titled "Alchemy: Power Through Circles" was tucked under her right arm. It looked slightly worn, and had obviously been read dozens of times. She sat down on the bench opposite Amelia and opened the book neatly in her lap, while Severus curled up next to her, his fluffy tail wafting around him. end. <3

"Right," Amelia replied, raising an eyebrow. She wasn't sure who was more strange, her sister Anya, or Sarah. Then she noticed a book Sarah had, "what's that?" It didn't look familiar to Amy, which meant it wasn't a text book at least.
The train hadn't left yet, and Amelia peered out the window to see her siblings and Mary wave at her. She waved back, and then they made there way back to between platforms 9 and 10.

Sarah looked up and smiled, holding the book out for Amelia to examine. Severus opened an eye out of curiosity. What would happen once this girl found out how inferior Sarah actually was...
Of course anyone who knew her also knew that the latter was not true. The cat was so sure she would fit well into either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. end. <3
