the book was really great but i was very sad when dobby died he was the best.

I actually didn't like it that much...I hated the death she gave Snape..than right afterward she gave you a ton of information about him to swallow..I didn't feel the emotion behind of his death..similar to how I did for some of the other characters that died. The only one I REALLY felt was Dobby.

I disliked snape's death because it was disapointing he got killed by a snake i think he deserved to die in a less demeaning way. as for the other deaths i think they had more emotion behind them.

The book was great, through chapter 34, then went downhill faster than rocket being propelled towards earth. (kinda lame, but u get my point) yeah, the end made me furious. I didn't care for the way in which snape died, but i can certainly live with it. yes, it saddened me, but being sad is significantly better than what i felt from the point they entered king's cross on. I felt the whole series was anti-climatic. The whole focus was on Harry defeating Voldemort, and this big confrontation they would have and all this work Harry would have to do in order to get that one duel to change the fate of the wizarding world, and what did it end up to be? one stupid curse each and the greatest dark wizard who ever lived fell over dead. i mean seriously. that's pathetic writing. The whole thing was just lame. Even if you hate a character, they deserve a decent death. Snape got short changed on that end, and so did Voldemort even more so than Snape. There were a lot of really pathetic deaths in that book, deaths that didn't mean anything cause they didn't seem to have consequences. I have to say though, for building up such a great potential confrontation for Harry and Voldemort, JKR made a awful choice in how to play the conflict out. My poor villain... not to mention, someone would have been able to tell harry was alive in that forest procession. he has to breathe for gods sake. and don't even get me started on the epilogue... yeah, great book until the beginning of chapter 35.

horse_love_34 The book was good but too short for me... omgosh, i know! i love books that take you like a month to read lolz. i rllly didnt want it to be overr.

P1R4T3_S4MUR41 i felt like the ending was sort of thrown together, but that's just me... I agree completly. It felt like s well thought out story up until the begining of chapter 35, at which point, it felt like it was writen quickly, just to appease someone or another... and she said the epilogue had been writen for years, yet it felt like something whipped together in about half an hour. Chapter 34 should have been the end. That's when it stoped being a good story, at least in my opinion.

I thought it was a pretty good book and there were a lot of deaths. Dobby's death was the saddest. Way too short for me. I'm sad now that it's over. crying

I really liked the book, but I also hated that Dobby had to die. gonk ~
My favorite chapter had to be the Prince's Tale.
I cried so hard when I read it. DX

It was AMAZING. It had a blend of tons of emotions, i almost cried. It was just beautiful. heart

I loved the book and I cried for everyones deaths. I dont think that they did justice to fred's death though. it was just like hes dead the end. I loved the stuff she gave us about Snape

was a very good book, but JKR killed four of my favorite characters, only leaving me with one. So I'm not afraid to say that this one made me cry. And with Severus having loved Lily, that made it even better. I was always one of the people saying that they would have been cute together and all my friends told me that it never would have happened. Deathly Hollows proved me oh so right.
