And..I think we should have some common rooms once we get some more members. That way, students can get to know each other better.

Um, maybe using Orange instead of Yellow to mark Hufflepuffs... the Yellow is really hard to see sweatdrop

Okay, well... Us Hufflepuffs were discussing it a bit and, well... We think there needs to be a F.A.Q. thread. I know my friend and I are having some confusion about the roleplay. It's not quite started yet, but we want to be.. prepared? XD 1.) Must all characters start as first years? I mean, if this is a "progressive" sort of roleplay, what happens when your character graduates? Are they kicked out of the roleplay? Then we don't get to use them? That doesn't seem like much fun... I mean, this is "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," not "Peoples' Jobs..." (Also: Ex. I'm sixteen. I don't want to be eleven. And my character and her brother are two years apart...) Unless, of course, the "start as first years" beans the guild members. In which case, I ask, "What?" :< 2.) Does signing up for classes mean that guild members sign up for them? In which case, once again, "What?" Or does it mean that your roleplay character takes them? If so, what if a person has more than one character? Would each character be signed up individually? 3.) Does the roleplay character have to be of the same house as the preson playing him/her? Because Sin-chan and I both plan on having other-housed characters, along with Hufflepuffs. I'm sure others would agree, even with House Pride. ^__^ 4.)Um, well, that's it, really. XD
Aeraen Hiver ~ heart
And now a word from Sin-chan!
Yeah, backing up what Aeraen said about the FAQ. These are the questions I ask. :3
Also, when refering to the Hufflepuff house, can we use the color 'Goldenrod' instead of 'yellow'? The Hufflepuffs have already begun doing so. :3
1. What about the Head of House (HoH)? How would one get the job? And even if one got the job, what would they do all day? Is the HoH for the Guild, Role play, or Both? If it's for the RP, then what would the HoH do? Would they have a student character as well?
2. Prefects. How do you apply for the position? Is the job for the Guild, RP, or Both? What does a prefect do? In the book, you have to be in your 4th year, at least, to become a prefect. Most of the RP students are first years. How would that work?
3. Role Playing. I've never been in a Harry Potter RPing Guild, how do you RP? Is RPing only used in one subforum, or are they in all forums. Will they have Common rooms in the subforum? How do you RP there? Will there be more then one thread? If so, how do you do it? Could someone be in three diffrent places at once, because of the many diffrent threads?
4. Characters. Can you have more then one? Can you character be in a diffrent house from you? If not, why?
5. Logic. I don't mean to be a bother, but why is everyone an animagus? Most of them are first years. First years don't know how to levitate things, much less do something as complicated as turn themselves into an animal. It's hard to do. And it takes a lot of training. There woulden't be this many animagus either. Mostly all of them are registered. Aside from the muraders, how many characters do we know that are animagi? Two? Then how is it that there are so many of them now? The muraders where a one in a million case, yet we seem to have tons of unregistered, animagi first years. It took the muraders till they where in their fifth year. How odd is that?
6. Pets. We are alowd to bring cats, owls, and toads. There are exceptions, like a rat, or maybe a rabbit or raven, or something small and harmless. But a pheonix or a dragon? I highly doubt Hogswarts would alow that. Do you know how big dragons are? Even the baby ones? Even if you tried to keep the bugger secret, you'd be found out soon enough.

Also, to add to Aeraen's post. When is the Role Play starting?
Not like Saturday when, but RP wise when?
Are we starting on Platform 9 3/4, or on the train? On the carriage ride or just before sorting? After sorting has ended or while we're on our way to the common rooms for the first time. The first day, or the first day of classes ? Or is it the weekend after classes? Or are we just going to throw all our characters into anywhere and time we so choose?
