Apparent “Concrete Details” regarding 1-18-08!

Before I post what a gentleman who goes by the name “Ryckless” has told me, I want to mention first, the email I’m about to post has spoilers, so be forewarned. Secondly, this individual does not work for the film at all. But he has pointed me some ‘concrete evidence’ as he stated that he says anyone can see for themselves regarding the story and some of the characters themselves. I’m going to be looking into this further myself within the next few days, but this is really interesting.

Dear Brad,
I have never written in to you guys before. In fact, I am not even registered with your website, but I thought that this information was just too huge to not pass on to you. I have details on Cloverfield that I have yet to see ANYWHERE else on the internet… and what’s the best part? They are CONCRETE details. I don’t have to worry about sources or anything like that, because the information I have attained is unarguable. While trying to find ways inside the production process of the movie, a big section overlooked was the casting department. Hey, they needed to audition the movie, and with an audition, the actors need scenes to act out. I was tipped that those scenes, just happen to be up at a little website called cShowfax.com. Its the website that agents/managers/actors use to get their sides for auditions. What’s the best part? These scenes have (for the most part) been up since APRIL. Just waiting for us! What’s the worst part? You have to pay for them sad . BUT through an internet forum I frequent (and I have to give notice to JorgeMacD and Orlics101 for laying out the money), we managed to get our hands on some of the scenes and oh boy, we’ve got some interesting details now! Before I divulge what we found, you should know that the exact website is http://www.showfax.com/role_selection.cfm?l=2&t=3&p=89217. We managed to attain the scenes for “Officer,” “Field Reporter,” “News Anchor,” “Frantic Guy,” and “Rob.” Here are summaries or excerpts from what they say.
Field Reporter:
–It’s chaos. They’ve taken over the main hall and destroyed everything in their path. There are bodies all over the–
Good Lord! I’ve never seen anything like–the walls are covered with blood.
I see them! They’re wearing masks! One of them has a-
Rob’s scenes are just character development bull, but there’s a scene in a laboratory in France called Le Petite Rose.
The Officer:
OFFICER
Sir, four civillians were found in the Dead Zone.
OFFICER
Sir, if this doesn’t work…the President has authorized Project Hellfire.
OFFICER
What is it, have you been hit?
(The injured officer spastically vomits black blood onto the floor.)
OFFICER
WE GOT A HIT! Get this man to quarantine!
The News Anchor’s scene seems to be at the beginning of the film, chronicling some sort of huge fire in Syracuse, NY.
The Frantic Guy’s scene I managed to get a jpg of, which is attached, but in summary it talks about “they” and “he” as bad guys, meaning multiple enemies of some sort. You’ll see when you read it.
SO, in summary, the “monster” is either actually a group of monsters/people or is assisted by a group of monsters/people. They have some kind of terrible weapon that causes you to puke up black blood, as well as the ability to just completely shred people, as evidenced by the blood on the walls and the piles of bodies. They don’t just roll over us, not like War of the Worlds, because there are evacuations going on, and they seem to be cordoned off, at least for a time, in this Dead Zone. It starts with little attacks, possibly the fire in Syracuse is a prelude to the invasion. Rob is super ill at one point, and gets an adrenaline injection in a lab to keep him going. Somehow they end up in France.
If you want confirmation of these scenes, pay for them yourself! While you’re at it, get the scenes we haven’t gotten yet too!
All I can say is I’m checking out this reference site as we speak for confirmation details. I will get back to you on further happenings.

New Evidence Update (From the Forum)

Before you read, you need to know that i am in no way involved in the movie itself, but i do have a few connections through friends and although i have no way of proving anything i say, you will just have to keep an open mind. On the other hand, you can choose to ignore the below information, and live with the ignorance until the real movie information is released.

The auditions you found were real. They are 110% from the studio of 1-18-08..However, they aren’t based on 1-18-08’s story. J.J. Abrams needed to do auditions for these actors so he didn’t have a huge cast of bad actors, the only way he could do this and keep it under wraps was to have his actors act out scenes from a completely different movie that had the same horror tone that Abrams wanted to have in his film. However, i will admit that the movie and 1-18-08 have some similar plot lines. One important thing i can tell you is that once you find out what movie these auditions are based on, you will find tons more clues.

In a way, this could be so as again, we were all shocked by this sudden new ‘plot.’ Obviously, there may be similarities between whatever movie these scripts were from and 1-18-08. Good thing I heard this as I was considering purchasing the scripts to see for myself. wink
