A trainer of seventeen walked to an arena. She was unusual, but most Gaians were in some aspects. Her eyes were blue, not really abnormal, but her skin was a creamy white and...furry? She had a lion tail that stayed rather stationary for now, and she had lion ears. If you didn't know any better you'd think she was some Persian that had been tested on, but in truth she was a lion that just happened to be colored like one. She was missing a few things though, like the red jewel on the forehead and the orange on the curl of the tail, she had no curl since it was a lion tail anyways. Her clothes were red and black, with black hair and Plumeria in it.
Behind her followed her friend and first pokemon, a Raichu named Emi. Nothing out of the ordinary with her, except maybe her competitive drive.
The trainer knealed next to her pokemon. "You ready for this Emi? I believe they have a pokemon we haven't battled against, maybe even heard of. So be prepared for anything." Amber said, placing a hand on the Raichu's head before it ran into the arena, ready for battle.

Now Noah [FEDKite] walked in. He was wearing a...Penguin Suit? What a ridiculous outfit. He had to come in this attire because he had no time to change before the battle, thus resulting in him wearing his "relaxation" outfit. It was stupid for a Gaian of 13 to even own something so childish, so stupid. Even he had to admit that he didn't like it that much. A little creature scurried out from behind his left leg. It was Rai, a Hampy. It started squeaking "Haaaampy." "So, your exited too, eh then, Rai? This opponent looks fun, and he's even from a different region!" "Hampy!" Noah knelled down to pet the hamster like creature. "Okay, let's get this show started!" he stood up. "Come at us!" he said with a smile on his face, raising his flipper. "Hammmmpy!" Rai squeaked with excitement.

What the hell was this? Emi looked at it in a stupor, she'd never seen anything so small. The smallest thing she'd ever battled was a Skitty, and this just felt odd.
Amber stood and stared at it for a bit too. It looked like a run-of-the-mill pet hampster. Well, if he wanted to battle with it, then she'd battle it. "O...k. Emi, attack with Volt Tackle." Normally it was a shouted command, but she was still a little confused about the Hampy.
Electricity sparked from the mouses cheeks before enveloping her body as she ran forward, gathering speed rapidly and readying for the possible impact. The electricity was yellow and you couldn't make out the Raichus' body, but she was zipping along in zig-zags, hoping to confuse the Hampy and connect with it. Even if she didn't, if she got close enough the electricity from her body would transfer to the smaller hampster-like Pokemon and most likely stun it for a short while. And hopefully she wouldn't run it over.

Rai felt a jerk and a jolt of electricity run through his body, a millisecond away from each other. Rai was knocked into the air and turned 90 Degrees before hit the floor. "Ham...py." He said, standing up.
"Hang in there, Rai! We can do it!"
That command didn't even sound serious. We might have an advantage if they keep underestimating us. Noah thought, barely hiding a smug smile on his face.
"All right, Rai! Here we go! Tackle!"
The little Hampy scurried over to the Raichu, heading for it's head in hopes to knock her off balance. Rai jumped, and...

Bad hit. Emi thought to herself as she passed the Hampy, noticing it went flying into the air from the electricity. She whirled around in time to see the tackle and get out of the way of major damage.
"Alright Emi, use Iron Tail!" Now she was getting used to the Hampy and getting into the battle. Iron Tail had always been a useful attack for them, hopefully it would be useful here too.
The Raichu's long tail began to glow white as iron coated and hardened it, Emi rushing at Rai and digging her front paws into the ground as she swung her body around to hit the Hampy as hard as she could with her ironclad tail, the lightningbolt resembling a blade.

Rai was slammed across the room, causing it's reflexes to jolt it up to a pre-mature stop before slamming into a wall.
"Here we go! Bite!"
Rai straightened itself up and charge at it's opponent, mouth open.

Ah, yes! The first good hit in a while! Emi thought as she watched the Hampy fly across the room and slam into the wall. She was ready for Rai's attack, but she moved wrong and she could feel the Hampay's large front teeth bite down on her arm. She winced in pain and a grimace crossed her face as she looked at Rai.
"Emi, dislodge the hampster and attack with Zap Cannon!" Amber didn't know what the pokemon was called, but she couldn't have been too far off.
The Raichu tried to get loose of the Hampy, and when she finally got irritated enough she attacked. A ball of electricity formed infront of her and grew to the size of a cannon ball before shooting it off at Rai.

Rai stiffened because of the sudden jolt of such a high concentration of electricity, mainly in his open mouth. Rai shook itself to get his senses back.
"Here we go! Bite!"
Rai, already near Emi, turned it's head to a ninety degree angle, and tried to chomp down on Emi's leg.

"Counter with another Zap Cannon!" Amber shouted to her Pokemon as Rai bit her again.
This time she let out a small grunt, but from the look on her face you could tell it really hurt. Another ball of electricity formed and she aimed it at the Hampy, letting it grow bigger than it was last time before shooting the hampster again, hoping that this time it'll stay off.

Rai was knocked off Emi's leg, but the strike didn't hurt too bad. He recovered, and they both gritted their teeth in exitement.
"Let's finish this quick! Quick attack!"
With that, the little hampy rushed forward at an extremely high rate the try and hit Emi's stomach head on.

Emi didn't like that Bite attack. Coming from Houndours wasn't so bad, but for some reason a Hampy biting was just wrong and rubbed her the wrong way. She kept a close eye on Rai as he charged for another tackle. She stood there on all fours, waiting for him to get close before smacking him away with the lightningbolt on her tail, taking hardly any damage.
"Now use Shockwave!"
Rai was now far enough away to use the attack the way they were used to. Electricity shot from her yellow cheeks, now glowing white, and a wave of yellow and blue electricity formed before her, rising up and up like a tidal wave before rushing across the field and crashing down at the opposite side.

Hampy settled down, and got ready to rush, completly focusing on Emi.
"Here we go....BITE ATTACK!"
Rai ran up, while halfway there jumping up to bite Emi's ear.

What was it with this trainer and the Bite attack? And what was it with always getting her ear bitten?! She let out a cry of pain and fury as she started to thrash arround, trying to get the Hampy to let go.
Amber tried to think of the best attack to use, normally when her ear was bitten like this the pokemon was much larger and easier to get rid of. But this thing was smaller than her, much smaller. "Uh, Emi, try and use Iron Tail again!" She shouted, hoping she could put in a good hit, she knew Emi hated being bitten on the ear.
the Raichus tail glowed again as it lashed around, finally whipping at where the weight on the side of her head was the greatest.
