Yeah, Jackie rules! Mostly cuz he sort of reminds me of the good old days of Kung fu, karate and all that stuff; with great ones like, Bruce Lee for one. 3nodding

I haven't actually seen any rush hour movies. Are they very good?
PostPosted: Mon Sep 03, 2007 2:45 pm

theyre funny. the first one had a plot and then they started disappearing as the movie progresses but that doesnt matter cause its funny anyway. i say watch it for laughs.

P.S. I like your sig by the way. Hsien-ko from Darkstalkers is one of my favorite characters. In another guild there was a discussion about vampires, and I tried to post about jiang-shi (Chinese vampires) and the guild captain totally ripped on me, saying they aren't real vampires. I was upset, but I just sucked it in. But now talking about vampires again in that same guild, and then coming here and seeing your sig in this guild, reminded me about it. This is way off topic, but we are like the only two people posting in this guild now, so who cares. Let it rain Twinkies for all I care.

It is weird how they switch names. I read once that in the old street fighter games that the wrestler was named Mike Bison, an obvious pun on Mike Tyson. In America they were afraid of lawsuits so they made the M. in Mike stand for Major, and Major Bison became the name of the character who had been Vega. American Vega was the guy with the mask and claws. I can't remember what his original name was supposed to be.

it was a switch of names. claw vega was known as bison. m. bison was known as vega. m. tison was the boxer just called tison before. now everything kinda settled but in japan the names are different.

Ah yes, the switching of the names. As I recall, American Vega was originally Balrog so, when he became Vega, Vega became M. Bison & M bison became Balrog. Talk about confusing, huh?
But anyway, Isn't it funny that no other martial artist has tried to combine comedy with martial arts? I can't think of anyone else at least...
