People are always saying that naruto, sasuke and gaara had the worst childhood. Naruto because his own whole village shunned him because of a demon inside him that he couldn’t do anything about, sasuke because his own brother killed his whole clan then decided not to kill him because “he wasn’t worth killing” and gaara because he was also shunned from his whole village because of an evil demon inside him and his own uncle tried to murder him. Who do you think had it worst?

This is a VERY tough decision. All 3 have had difficult lives. Sasuke and garra have had it harder than naruto though. But, I think garra has had the worst.

why? i think sasukes was prety bad. his own brother killed their own clan ((was it that he said to test his strengnth?)) and then refused to kill him because he said "he wasnt worth killing" lol how can gaaras be worse?

Because sasuke had friends and lvoe that helped him coupe with his issue. Garra has never had family or love until he met naruto and his friends. And yet, still he has problems with love.

...o_o damn...your right...but doesnt in the first naruto shippuden episode sasuke attempts to kill naruto because of the flashback with itachi he said something like "in order to obtain the mangekyou sharingan, you must kill your best friend" so he tried it. i didnt get to see what happened next because i only got to see the 1st five minutes of it and it cut me off right then. perfect timing, huh? -_-

I think Gaara had the worst. It took him 15 years for him to see the light and for people to like him.

I have to say Naruto, mostly for one reason. He is still living in the shadow of the 9-tailed fox. Gaara is tied with him in my opinion. they both are attempted to get killed just because of the demons they hold.
(Sasuke in my opinion is just kinda... lucky. Sure he had his family killed, but at least he had the support of the village.

Sure he had his family killed, but at least he had the support of the village. I still think gaara comes out on top. Only because narutos beast was sealed. Gaara has had to live with his through his whole life. Killing people he wanted to kill, and sometimes killing innocent people. Naruto only had to deal with the whole village rejecting him, he never killed anyone unless he had to. Gaara on the other hand has killed a lot of people and sometimes cant control his beast.

Man, ya'll are right this is a really tough one. hmm...i think Naruto is pretty freakin' awesome. I know his childhood was rough, but it shaped his entire outlook on life. It was bad, however it's the reason he's so awesome; he doesn't give up. He had to over come this huge obstacle and that's what made him strong. So, his childhood was bad, but becuase he had people reach out to him he became a pretty amazing kid.
Sasuke's was bad but ya'll are right he did have the village to support him, and he knows what love is, he just chooses to hate.
All Gaara knew in his childhood was hate, and the one person he tried to love and thought loved him ended up hating him. Also the whole he's killed tones of people unintentionally thing, and has to live with that, not to mention not being able to really sleep, makes his childhood pretty horrible.
So, i guess in my opinion Gaara had the worst childhood, but they all did suck (drastic understatement)

I voted for Gaara, but it was close. He needs a big hug. He has no one. Sasuke has all his fan girls (well, sorta) and Kakashi and Naruto. Naruto has Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Hinata, Iruka, Konohamaru, Sarutobi, and Jiraiya. But who does Gaara have? Nobody. He had Yashamaru, but then he turned out to be a laiar, and tried to kill him. Gaara definatly had the worst.
