 Sea jogged out into the battlefield. It had been a good long time since she had last seen the blinding lights of the stadium. Her Paras, Mushy, had been able to rest up after the fierce battles he had fought. Now completely healed, Mushy was ready for anything. "Okay, Mushy. Are you ready for battle?" "Para, para, paras!" Mushy replied. Time for battle!

The young Pokemon Trainer arrived at the area where she stood on the opposite side. Her light brown hair blew some in the gentle wind as her golden eyes, that were hidden behind glasses, glittered. She wore a yellow headband that seemed to support a pale yellow colored flower that was in her hair. She wore a pair of goggles around her neck that seemed to cover the top of her ruffled yellow tub top that showed her stomach. She wore a black colored skirt with a belt that contained her one and only pokeball along with a golden pocket watch that hung on the side slightly. Yellow and white striped stocking covered her legs completely and at the bottom, she wore yellow colored shoes that where high and made her somewhat taller then she really was. To top it off, she wore gloves and a little beauty mark was on her cheek. Standing next to the girl, an orange colored lizard with a flame at the end of his tail stood; his green eyes seemed to glitter as he glanced at the pokemon that he was to face.
A gentle smile pressed upon her lips as she looked at the other trainer; her eyes seemed to glance down towards the Paras. A fascinated look drew upon the young trainer's face as for this was the first time they were to battle against a Paras such as Mushy, as well as seeing one for the first time, and she knew it would be a fun experience. Glancing down at her own pokemon, she smirked some. "Are you ready for another battle, Flamethrower?" she asked with a smile. The charmander replied with a simple "char, char" and quickly walked into the center of the ring. This was to be their 3rd battle and she was going to make the best of it.
"Alright Flamethrower, do your best out there. Its not about the winning, just have fun," Peep seemed to shout at the Pokemon before getting ready to order a move. "Use Ember, now!" Peep shouted and pointed at the Paras as the battle was to begin. With a nod of his head, the charmander seemed to move foward a bit. Maw opened as he quickly released tiny but numerous flames that headed for the Mushy, hitting the Pokemon one at a time. This was their first time using that move to begin a battle rather then scrath and Peep hoped that she made the right choice.

The flames managed to singe Mushy's delicate skin, but mostly they missed. "Are you okay, Mushy?" Sea called out. Mushy was more vulnerable to fire attacks, and they had never fought a Charmander before. Mushy nodded as he stood ready to accept his first attack. "Okay then, use your Swords Dance!" Mushy stood on his hind legs, and he twirled around like a ballet dancer. His front claws sliced the air around him as he danced toward Flamethrower.... -3 HP Current HP 33/34

A slight roll of her eyes was given as the first attack didn't go so well as she planed. However, it was only the start of the battle and there was plenty of time to make up for the sucky first move. Her eyes twinkled in a fasinated way as the little bug twirl and hurtle towards her pokemon. This was a move she was unfamiliar with and she feared that it may do more damage then she wanted. The charmander, too, watched from inside the ring. As the Paras headed towards him, his little cranium titled slightly towards the side in curiosity. His body flinched in slight pain as he flew backwards slightly once the attack finally reached him. The damage wasn't as bad as he thought it would be but pain filled his body for a moment. Shacking it off and regaining his balance, he stood and glared some at the bug; tassel whipped to and fro behind him lightly.
"Its alright Flamethrower," Peep shouted. "Your doing fine," she added. "Now, attack him with a flamethrower attack!" Peep shouted and grinned a little. With a nod of his head, the lizard obeyed his trainer's command. With a deep sigh and seeming to take in some air, the charmander quickly opened his mouth as a blast of flames shot towards the Paras.

"NO!!!" Sea screamed, as the fierce tongue of fire completely engulfed her Pokemon. It was a direct hit. Just as she feared. Mushy was badly shaken. Never, in all of the battles he's fought, has he been hit with such a strong blow. "Mushy! Stand back up! Please be alright!" Mushy slwly stood back up, shaking the ashes off of his body. It was a bad hit, but this battle was still far from the end. "Okay! Let's try a Bullet Seed!" Mushy shook his entire body, and small, hard seeds shot out of his mushrooms, filling the air. Sea just hoped that it would hit strongly enough to make a comeback... -9 HP Current HP 25/34

Now things were getting good. Flamethrower watched as the seeds filled the air as the Paras attack; flying backward some as he hit his owner's feet. "Flamethrower!" Peep said as she looked down before her feet to find her Pokemon. She knelt down and stroked his head quickly before standing upwards; allowing her pokemon to regain his balance. "You aright there buddy?" she asked with a gentle smile. The charmander nodded his head as Peep sighed in relief. That last attack did a good amount of damage to her charmander's Hp but she knew he wouldn't give up. "That's good," she said with another smile.
Pointing at Mushy, she parted her lips to speak out another mouth. "Flamethrower, get ready to use.." her words were cut short as she watched her Pokemon flashed into a white, bright light. She stood there, blinking with concern on her face. "Flamethrower?" she asked with concern; only to be more dumbfounded with what she saw now. There, instead of a Charamander, stood a Charmeleon. "Flamethrower, you evolved," Peep said softly with a smile. The charmeloeon glanced over at his owner with what seemed to be, in his own why, a smirk and a nod of his head. "Charmeleon," Flamethrower replied. Shacking her head, she snapped back to the battle, knowing that an eveolution was no time to stop the battle. "Flamethrower, use Fire spin," she said as she pointed to the little bug. Opening his mouth, he let out small, but numerous amounts of flames to circle around Mushy. One after the other, the flames hit the bug. Hopefully, this attack would make up for the Hp that he had lost and help them win.

The attack struck! The Charmander was hit hard by the seeds. Sea smiled as she watched her Paras do a little dance in his glee. The pair of them stopped short when the Charmander began to glow. "What? What's happening now?" Sea asked, confused. Mushy shook in terror as he watched the newly evolved Charmeleon aim a fire spin attack. The blow sent Mushy flying back towards the edge of the field. "Mushy!" Sea called out, scared for her Pokemon. Mushy stood back up and growled at the opponant. "You still want to fight?" Sea asked. Mushy nodded vigorously, and Sea wracked her brains for another attack. "Mushy!" She shouted. "Use your X-Scissor attack!" Mushy crossed his front legs, and jumped toward the Charmeleon... -2 HP Current HP 19/34

"Quick, dodge that attack!" With careful eyes, the charmeleon watched as the bug came in his direction; hands twitched some and legs moved slightly underneath him. Eyes flashed as he quickly moved to the side at Mushy's attack. However, he felt the attack on the side of his arm just as he dodged it; feeling only as though a gentle pinch to him. Glancing over at his arm, he shrugged to find just a mere scratch and nothing more; orbs glared as he looked over at Mushy's direction.
"You alright?" Peep asked although from the look of it, he seemed perfectly fine. "Charmeleon," Flamethrower replied with a nod of his cranium. "Alright then," Peep said as she cleared her throat some. "Attack with Slash!" With a leap foward, the pokemon threw back his arm as sharp, ivory claws twinkled under the sunlight. Once he drew close enough, he brought his arm around to attack as his claws come into close contact with Mushy.

"Dang it!" Sea cried out as Mushy took the blow. Charmeleon seemed much stronger than Charmander. Mushy seemed to know what to do, because just as soon as he recovered from the attack, he lept forward, flashing a brilliant light from his mushrooms. The Flash attack filled the stadium with incredible light, and, hopefully, filled Flamethrower's eyes with ligh as well... 14/34 HP -6 HP
