1. We Win
As some of you may know, there was a multi-guild contest in The Gaian FBI Guild. It involved lots of posting in a contest thread. The guild with the most posts would win 10,000 gold, and the second place guild would win 5,000 gold. After one long week of posting, and another three weeks waiting for the posts to be counted, The Ladies of Gaia Guild was announced the winners. We only won by a few hundred posts. The other guilds were very close to winning. So, we have been awarded 10,000 gold into our Guild Mule Account (The Ladies Guild). We will be using this gold to give away as prizes in our many guild contests. I would like to thank everyone who helped us out. whee
2. Birthday List:
I have finally finished the Birthday List. Every Birthday that I have, is on this list. Please PM me if there is a mistake in your birthday, you're missing, or your name has changed. Some of these have been in my calendar for almost a year.
3. Guild Member of the Month:
For the month of August 2007, The Ladies of Gaia Guild Member of the Month will be.....
MamaRita
MamaRita has made an effort to get to know, and help as many people as possible. As a fairly new addition to our guild, she has tried to help out wherever possible. Congrats MamaRita.
If you know someone who deserves to be Guild Member of the Month, feel free to PM your nominations. I don't even mind if you nominate yourself, as long as there is a reason behind it. I'll take all nominations into consideration.
4. New Guild Contest:
I'm preparing a new contest. We're going to have a themed avatar contest. Free to join. Tektek.org, so you wouldn't have to spend money to possibly make money. I'll announce all the rules as soon as possible. Hopefully before the end of this weekend.
5. Guild Post Count:
As of today, our post count is officially 4596. I think that this is a great achievement. Congrats ladies!!!
6. Guild Goals:
I would like to see us reach 5000 post by the time I do the September Guild Update. We'll have to work hard, but we're worth it. Thanks for all your help ladies.
7. New Guild for a Lady:
Most of you know PredeterminedFate. Recently she started her own guild, although she remains faithful to us as well. I wanted to take this opportunity to say congrats Dawn. I'm really happy for you. For those of you who would like to check out her new guild it is The Gaian Rec Center. I know how hard it is to work on your own guild. We're here for you if you should need anything.
