Hey boys and ghouls... I was just wondering if any of you have your hair cut in a deathhawk? I've had a mohawk for the longest time, and I'm trying to grow it out for one but it seems like it will take foooooooor-eeeeeeeeeev-eeeeeeeeeeeer. Do you think it'd be worth it in the end? I love my mohawk but I've just been wanting a style that's a little more...well more. smile

I had somewhat of a pompadour for a little while. I'm growing my hair out now though, it's almost shoulder length now. I have entertained the thought of a hawk in the past but I have a corporate job, and it probably wouldn't go over too well there.

I have a half-cut, everyone thinks its a mohawk though. I don't think my facial structure would work very well with a mohawk of any kind.

I've had a girly-hawk, but it was kind of annoying to maintain. These days it's a chelsea for me- short in the back, shoulder-length on the sides, pixie bangs.
I have to say, I think the Bettie Page bangs (especially paired with overplucked/drawn on, superskinny eyebrows) are the most overwrought underground fashion statement I can think of. They blunt the features and play up the masculine aspect so most women fail at pulling them off. There's "different," and then there's just unflattering.

My ex-boyfriend thought I should get a mohawk, but I never thought that, or a deathhawk for that matter, would look very good on me. Not to mention the fact that I do a bit of work at an elementary school, and it wouldn't go over well with the principal there. xp

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks the deathhawk looks ridiculous.

!Age of Consent! I hope I'm not the only one who thinks the deathhawk looks ridiculous. I think its ridiculous how many people have them, its waaay overdone and often doesn't look too good. ninja But it occasionally does.

To me there's nothing more cliche then the always present mohawk and the deathawk.
I think it doesnt suit most people, I love Johnny Slut's deathawk though.
But with a lot of haircuts, I just dont get why you'd want to make yourself look bad. I agree with the other person who said it but Betty Paige bangs are so stupid looking.
I'll admit, I have a fringe (intended to look like Davey Havok's and Philip Oaky of The Human League) and I spike a lot of the rest of it and texturize it, but it looks good on me and helps me enhance how I look rather then make me look less attractive.
Here's a crappy pic of my hair from like a week ago

Sory that its really small.

I would post a pic of my Deathawk, but my Camera broke, hopefully we can get a new one. I'm re-doing it today, the sides need a trim...

I've had basically the same hair all my life. I don't think I'm going to be changing it any time soon. When, I do, however, it would be nice to so something a little edgier. I just get sick of being called "cute".
