Hello and Welcome Anime lovers! mrgreen This thread contains all the animes that I watched, what they are about and my opinions on them. Remember that these are my personal opinions and if you disagree no need to get touchy. Just because I didn't like one doesn't mean you won't. If you would like me to add an anime that isn't on the list or add an opinion ("OMG!1!1! THS SUX!" Doesn't count) just post it and I will! :] Also feel free to rate them yourself :] (I will not add them to the first post however.)

Genre: Fantasy, Supernatural.
# of episodes: 24 and one movie (xxxHolic: A Midsummer Night's Dream (I did not watch this))
Summery:
The series' protagonist, Kimihiro Watanuki, is a high school student who is continually plagued by supernatural monsters (youkai) and spirits which are magically attracted to him. The creatures are invisible to all but him, and as a result he feels extremely burdened by them. When he quite literally stumbles into a shop that grants wishes, his life changes drastically.
Opinion: I really enjoyed this one. It is really funny and full of references from other animes (see if you can find them all ;D). The animation is beautiful but the proportions are rather weird. I especially enjoyed the opening. mrgreen I give it 8/10
Ouran High School Host Club

Summary:
Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and a vest that resembles the male student's uniform. Her large glasses and tousled short hair causes most of her classmates to confuse with a boy. Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six attractive male students who spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000. To pay off her debt she must now work as a host while keeping her gender a secret.
Opinion:
If I could marry an anime this one would be it 3nodding (STFU). The plot is haliarious (sp?) and the characters are really well thought out. You will definately burst out laughing at least once. Though this is considered a girls anime, guys will enjoy it too. The only problem with it is that after you finish watching you still want more. mrgreen I Give it a 9/10
GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka)

Opinion: This is a rather old anime but funny nonetheless, though its mostly a perverted humour. ~You have been warned~ It has partial nudity but nothing nasty happens. It also has a tv drama and a story that takes place when he was still in a gang (avaliable in manga only I think).
Overall, it's very entertaining and worth watching if you have time. I give it a 7/10
Chobits

I haven't watched this in a long time. D: But from what I remember it was okay. Theortically (sp?) this should be a very entertaining anime; it has an original (I think) idea and is somewhat funny. I did not really like it however. The end really confused me and the guy was a bit weird. D: I give it a 5/10
FLCL (Fooly Cooly/ Furi Curi)

I found this anime a bit confusing, but I enjoyed it anyway. It is full of lots of "WTF?!" moments and even if you don't get it you will be entertained from the sheer stupidity of it. ;] I give it a 7/10
To me Fooly Cooly should get a 2 or WTF. It really has no understandable plot and few explanations. I didn't make me laugh at any point and the wtf moments annoyed me.
Cardcaptor sakura
Genre:Magical Girl, Comedy, Romance
# of episodes: 70 and two movies (Cardcaptor Sakura the Movie (Watched it! 7/10))(Cardcaptor Sakura the Movie II – The Sealed Card (Did not watch))
Summary:The show begins as a simple girls' anime of the magical girl genre. Ten-year-old Sakura Kinomoto opens a mysterious book in her father's study and accidentally lets loose the magical Clow Cards. By her ability to open the seal, Sakura is revealed to have special powers, and it becomes her responsibility to retrieve the missing cards.
Opinion:
This was the very first anime I watched. :] It is considered to be a girls anime but maybe guys will like it too surprised There is a hint of romance but its mostly focused on the cards. I give it 7/10
Princess Tutu
Genre: Ballet, Comedy, Drama, Romance

Summary:We learn before even the theme song starts for the first time, of a man named Drosselmeyer. Drosselmeyer wrote stories, and was in the process of writing a new story when he died, thus locking the prince and the raven of the tale in eternal battle. Growing tired of this, the raven broke from the story and the prince soon followed to seal him away - but to do so, he sacrificed his own heart by shattering it with a sword. Drosselmeyer, however, is not quite as dead as he would seem. When he sees a duck watching this sad heartless prince dancing on the water, he decides to let the story unfold on its own and grants the duck's wish to help the prince. To do so, he transforms the duck into a girl named Ahiru.
Opinion:
I do not know why I watched this in the first place D: I should have ran away when I read the summary (I do this for every anime before I watch it) But Nooooo, I just had to watch it. Ballet is not my thing and the anime had too much fluff and dramatic transformations for my taste. There were some amusing parts but they where few and far inbetween. Also, the ending was rather depressing. But opinions aside, this should be a very good anime if you like that kinda of thing. I give it 5/10
Princess Tutu I can understand your rating on that but in my opinion is deserves an 8. The drawing style was meant to be chibish to be a contrast to the darker story behind it all. The transformations did take a little too long but this was based off the ballet Swan Lake so it's natural they'd use ballets. I love that it's not a happy anime and there is no happy ever after. Also I love(and hate) open endings where a sequel could be issued.

Summary:
Nyaako, the older sister of Nyatta lays very ill in her room. By accident, Nyatta sees his sister leaving the house holding hands with Death and follows them. Nyatta claims his sister's soul, by pulling one arm while her memories were erased by Death, who held the other arm. Nyaako's soul gets split in two, and her brother runs away with one half. Death sends a clue about a flower they must search in order to retrieve the missing part then walks away with the other half.
Opinion:
This is the most freakiest thing I have ever seen. I actually watched this without reading the summary first and I did not understand a thing. After I finished watching, I just sat there with a weird expression on my face and 'WTH' running through my mind. Only after I read what it was about did I get it. If you like freaky s**t go ahead and watch it. No seriously watch it D: I want to know if I'm not the only one that weirded out. I give it a 'WTF?'

Summary:
The story takes place in the Kanagawa Prefecture, and centers on 20-year old Keitaro Urashima, a young man desperately trying to be accepted into the prestigious Tokyo University in order to fulfill a childhood promise he made with a girl he now regards as the girl of his life. His obsessive pursuit of this dream is one of the few shining spots of optimism in his otherwise unlucky life. He becomes manager of the Hinata House (日向荘, Hinata Sō?, also known as Hinata Apartments), property of his family and now an all-girls' dormitory.
Opinion:
Hmmm...I haven't watched this In a long time. From what I remember it was really funny. XD The poor guy kept getting into trouble rofl Note: The OVA should be watched after the 25 episodes. I give it a 7/10.
