So the other day my older brother bought a $1000 dollar 37" flat screen TV. The one thing that interests me? The fact that I can plug my computer into it!!!11!!1one!1 So I was planning maybe disgracing the tv by using it to display Windows. Or letting it have the privilege of Linux. Elive for now, and maybe Kubuntu if i ever get a computer that has more than just dust in it.

Oh, i almost forgot, if my brother finds out i did this I am screwed. But as you will all agree... ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT

EDIT: Sorry, i though i posted this in the off topic... i guess not sweatdrop

Hehehe, yea, that sounds totally awesome...

Though nothing beats what I did once.

*enters story mode*

Back when I was 13 or 14, and a Boy Scout, we had yearly events down at Pro Player Stadium in Miami, near where I grew up. Pretty much all scout troops in South Florida were invited, and they all did something creative for the event - making arrowheads, or, cooking, something that visitors could come and participate in, etc. We all camped out in the grassy strips between parking lots, and had a good weekend of it. Anyway, that isn't important.

What reminds me of this, is that one year, somebody brought a Nintendo. And then, somebody who was helping run the event found out about it. One thing lead to another, and one night, the thing got hooked up to the really big TV they have at the stadium - you know, the one they show instant replays on, etc. I never did get to play on it, but I remember a bunch of them doing it, and watching, smirking...

As for your brother's TV, go for it smile Just don't let him catch you.

eek Why couldn't I be in a place like that, back when I was in boy scouts someone did something similar but when their troop leader found out about it, it ended up being firewood. It worked some what... of course that was back when I lived in Iowa and they did the camp in the middle of winter so we had military grade tents with the wood burner inside of them
