I really don't know. I'm in controversy with myself over it. I mean, from what I have seen with you guys, there is a whole mind set that goes with it. Like a second personality or something. But I don't wear girl clothes for the sake of it being crossdressing, or to be thought of as a girl or anything, but because I want to wear what I will look good in. It's wierd, and maye its just a misinformed thing, but how do you see crossdressing? Does a guy who likes wearing girl clothes automatically a transvestite/transexual/crossdresser or is it possible that someone can just wear clothes and not be marked? I'm sure as far as I know that I'm probably not a crossdresser, but thats why I posted this. So, your opinions?

I think you are in a struggle with Definitions.
Crossdressers are any people who dress in the clothes of the opposite sex. you do. So, then, what makes you not a crossdresser?
Second Personality? I don't have one. However, crossdressing can help express a different aspect of my being. Lets take my name:
NEWSKI
N- Agnostic Spiritualist
E- Political Jerkwad/Counter Culture Freaknik
W- Philosophy Buff
S- Film lover
K- Ghost Hunter
I- Writer
Obviously, there are more aspects, they can be interests or just ideals, or hobbies, or beliefs, or Religion... its just another part of your Being. I'm a fan of expression.

I don't know if I'm the best source, since I'm kind of on the outside looking in (being a GG who doesn't crossdress)... but as far as I know, a person who wears clothes of the opposing sex is a crossdresser by terms. Sure, your reasons are very different from those of other crossdressers in the guild, but that's what makes the world go round--differences.
Judging from your post, I don't think you're transexual or a transvestite. You just think you look better in women's clothing. And there's nothing wrong with that.

If the labels bother or confuse you, spurn them. Ignore them. You're being you, and that's all that matters.
But if you still want a clear answer, this is it. By today's standards, a man who wears clothing intended exlusively for women to wear is, while in those clothes, said to be engaging in crossdressing. If he does it more than just a few times for a lark, then it's safe to say that he is a crossdresser.... which is, in my opinion, not that big a damn deal.
In time, the array of clothes available to men will grow. There are enough of us challeging the limits that they will someday change. And then, just like women who were once told they were crossdressed when they wore trousers, we won't be told we are crossdressed when we wear skirts. We'll just be dressed.

Thankyou danni. I have a lot of the same doubts as you Danni, so I can understand where you're coming from. I also agree with Graceful. I mean, a lot of guys now are wearing pink, which was thought to be a girl's color. Who knows, maybe we'll see rappers celebrities start wearing skirts in the near future XD

you know~, the title doesnt matter~ and it doesnt matter what you really do~ just matters if that is what you want to do~ and if you like it~ I mean~ what ever feels natural~ 3nodding ( is in passive mode right now )
