Well, I Netflixed Highlanders 2 and 3, and watched my download of the foreign cut of the Source, so I finally made it through all the movies. Here's some of what I think.
Highlander 2: Crap. Amusing at points, but generally crap. Those two lunatics Katana sent after Connor in the beginning were absolute morons. And then put Michael Ironside in a bad wig and turn him loose as a raving psychopath...yeech! However, I did enjoy Ramirez staring daggers at the tailor who measured his neckline...
Highlander 3: Much better...actually about as good as the first I think. Interesting bits about Connor deluding himself into thinking he was really living with the Prize. MUCH more fitting sequel to the first movie. Kane was hysterical, especially the bit with him and the prostitute...what really happened there? My wife and I think he played with her for a bit, and then ate her. I think he and Kurgan would have been the badguy equivalent of Duncan and Connor. Brothers in arms. Nyuk nyuk nyuk. smile
The Source: Where's the rest of the ending, dang it? I hear this was the early cut to be released in Europe and Asia and there are a few minutes more to the ending than that. The movie seemed to close pretty suddenly as it was. But I did like how Duncan's choice in the final scene affected the outcome. Very fitting. Methos was as delightful as always. "You're an a*****e." One: Best ever. Sean Connery playing an Egyptian and Christopher Lambert playing a Scot is FUNNY. This movie is an absolute classic.
H2: Better as the Director's Cut. It's one of the worst movies ever made, but that's the good part. Aliens? Really.
3: Never again. The absolute worst rehash of the first--same villain/same plot-- and not worth the hours of life lost.
EG: Best one after the first. Hated Faith, hated that Connor died.
New one: Where in the hell is it?? I wanna see it.

Did Wikipedia do a good job summarizing the plot of each movie? I've heard mothing that makes me want to watch any but the first one, although I have seen bits of 2 and EndGame.
