...General RP Rules...

  • My word is law.

  • Thou shalt not grieve/whine/b***h continuously about your life - we come online to escape that most of the time.

  • Thou shalt keep swearing to a minimum - young ears are around people.

  • Thou shalt not use too much 'Leet' speak.

  • Thou shalt speak correctly using the proper grammer and spelling.

  • Thou shalt ask the artist before using an images in your signatures please (this is for fanart only really).

  • Thou shalt try to refrain from speaking oocly to frequently and when one does, one must distinguish it from the other ic posts using // (()) or []...

  • More to come...

...Frequently Asked Questions

Below are a number of questions that I hear frequently while DMing both on MMORPGs and within forums. There aren't a great deal of them but they are important to know so that you might come to understand the insane logic within a DMs mind (even if you ultimately come to the conclusion that it's absolutely useless anyway).

1. How come a hero hasn't been specified?
...As soon as a hero is specified everyone attempts to flock towards the hero to gain whatever it is they want - a better chance or something? I don't know.

Regardless, refraining from revealing who the hero is prevents characters suddenly popping up in the middle of nowhere e.g. If Sephiroth were to be the hero and he was in Nibelheim there's usually a guarantee that about five people will pop up in Nibelheim despite arriving on an entirely different continent.

2. Can we control NPCs?
Only the ones you create.

3. Can you fall in love with NPCs and vice versa?
Yes, but don't expect special priviledges.

4. If I make a linear character that refuses to change and otherwise poses difficulties what action will you take?
As a DM it's my job to involve everyone however if you present me with some many difficulties (ie you respond to NONE of my prompts properly) then I will be forced to throw you into obscure situations that you may consider unfair - please note that no character can be completely linear (unless robotic) and all mortals adapt to change, you cannot have a character that doesn't change in relation to anything without them being 2-dimensional.

Adapting however will enable me to place you into the storyline in such a way that you contribute to the plot line - bear that in mind and you'll know where to draw tge line e.g. Don't force me to throw you into the same situation four or five times, I'll begin to question your character's intelligence if you do.

...if you have anymore then feel free to ask them...
