im all for NORML but im not one to join, too many weird people in it. including my old roommate. besides im busy and smoking pot is my way to relax, without having to worry about polotical connotations adjoined to the activity. I just leave that to the people in it.

If the FBI is reading this, you need to PM me right now, because we will have a very serious situation on our hands. I will get Micheal Jackson's lawyer on the case. I know he would take a case where I feel my constitutional rights were violated.

Anyways, NORML is good... as soon as I make a name for myself, I will be an upstanding member.

I'm not one to join organizations, hell I've never joined a club a day in my life. now this may sound stupid to some of you, but I feel that I do my protesting by buying and smoking weed, it's my little way of saying "******** YOU" to a corrupted a** system.

I always worry about such things, ESPECIALLY when huge corporation buy the websites, like HOW Fox tv bought MYSPACE.com. ITs freaky s**t. Why would such a corporation even WANT such a website? Probably, for EVERYONE'S personal information. AND than they know what kinda stuff to use in the media, such as commerials. Its scary. :{

FOX bought MySpace because the advertising was well worth it. rather than just buying a slot on the website, they can now plaster their name all over it and reach out to the 22+ million registered users.

I don't understand why people want marijuana legalized...I mean, it would have restrictions like cigarettes and alcohol and such.

But I think that the punishments for possessing it should be lessened. People go to jail for so long just for having it in possession and it's ridiculous.

I'm not for legalization, just for less harsh punishments.

Cigarettes and alcohol have restrictions for a reason. I think decriminalization and legalization of cultivation with a proper license would be great.

Also, something bothers me. Why is it that when I watch videos from the 60s and 70s, I see all these cool kids trippin on cid and smokin pot all over the place, protesting with their big signs and sit-ins on capitol hill. Why don't the kids now do something? I bet if we had 250,000 stoned neo-hippies getting ******** up in Washington D.C. the price at the pump wouldn't be like a shaft in the a**. We have the power to voice our opinions without persecution. We could knob 2 birds in one cunny.

Yeah, Ali G is awesome.

They have restrictions because it's possible to kill yourself with them. Marijuana, however, has practically no health effects, other than slow lung damage when smoked. But how many cigs are in a pack? 20 or something like that? When's the last time you saw a guy smoke 20 joints in a day? Or, there's the really addicted smokers, who smoke 2 or 3, maybe more, packs a day. 60 joints in a day? No way. You'd pass out way before that. Not even ******** POSSIBLE.

Just because you can't die from it doesn't mean the government wouldn't put restrictions on it.

And not just how many whatevers are in a pack or something.

Age, buying, growing. Restrictions on everything.

true, but in my opinion, the government should treat marijuana just like tobacco...
there can be the 18 yr. age restriction but in return it would be legal. you never hear of a 17 year old geting busted with a cigarette, but with pot, its a different story. the other positive effects of legalizing pot would be the fact that there would be a standard. For example; weed would be put on a scale, the better the weed the higher the rating... so, this way you would know on a governmental scale how good the weed you were buying actually was... and that is my extremely wasted opinion.

Exactly like I say time and time again: We have restrictions for a reason. Some dumb ******** had to go out one day and do something completely stupid, and now we need these things so that no more dumbasses kill themselves.
