Rikku stood at the top of the giant pine looking out over the city of Flead. Her purple muffler blew in the wind. Her long brown hair was hidden under her Witch's Hood. Her rosy lips hidden behind her Spy mask. She was garbed in a With's Hood, muffle, long leather gloves, Robe top, laced pants, and stealth leggings. She smiled to herself as Alund, her Black eagle, came to rest upon her shoulder. She jumped from tree to tree, getting ever closer to her people of Flead.

As she got closer she noticed a wizard. She stopped and looked at him. She kissed Alund's head and he flew off to check him out. She jumped to the edge of the trees and stood at the top of another tall pine. Surveying the mage as Alund circled him. His cries echoed through the valley town. But noone understood him but her. So far all she knew was that there was something special about his staff and he was apowerful wizard. She glanced up at Alund, his large body and 4ft wingspan covered in abyss black feathers that were far to noticible against the blue of the clear sky.

Alund screeched again as a slight breez swayed the top of the pine and blew her muffler in the wind. None of that mattered to Rikku though. For she just found someting else out about the wizard.

He wasn't at her town just for the sights or the market. He was here for something else. She satyed on the tree line, jumping once again from tree to tree to the great stone walls that boarded her mother's vally town.

When she landed on the battlements the gaurds saluted her. She nodded back and stood above the gate. Watching the wizard and Alund, who would follow the wizard the little ways to the town's gate.

Rikku stood stilll as a statue, watching the wizard. it seemed like he wasn't going to come to her. So, she jumped from the wall back into the trees, jumping from them till she was even with the wizard, but at the top of a tall pine. Then she closed her eyes and mumbled.

When she reopened her eyes she was looking down at the wizard, from the Alund's eyes. Slowly she circled down closer until she landed infront of him. Then she sat there, staring at him, looking him over. The only weapon's he carried thats she could see was his staff. She hopped a little closer to see if he would react dangerously.

Rikku clicked her beak and hopped back. Something had flashed in the man's eyes. She closed her eyes. When she reopened them she was back in her body. She droped the 15 ft. to the ground and whistled. Alund flew away from the wizard and onto her shoulder. Then, her hands on her leather belt around her waist that held her pins, she walked towards the wizard that was only a few yards away.

Once she got three feet from the wizard she stopped and surveyed him. A slight breeze blew, throwing her muffler's ends around behind her and making her waist length cape move, and her hood fall back alittle to reveal part of her face.
"What brings you here?" She asked.

Rikku eye'd the wizard. "Possesion. Why?" She asked, curious. She knew possesion was really hard to do but it came easily to her. Alund picked at his wing the hopped ontp her arms. She held it out, kissed it's head, and then he flew into the air, staying low and close to her.

"I don't know how I do it. I just do. It's easy. I close my eyes, mumble a few words, open them and imAlund or me." She said, looking up at Alund and smiling. The bird cawed back and she continued."Alund, i'm not sure what he is. He came to me when i was a babe and stayed since. He's free to fly away whenever he wants. I never restrain him of cage him. Though I would truly miss him. We've grown quite fond of each other. But our relationship is special. Sometimes, if I try, i can hear his thoughts and we can talk to each other. And if he feels something, like pain or happiness, i feel it too. Which means when I saw you I was more courious than I should be. For I felt it in me and him. So it's not always a good thing. I can possess any animal. but birds, and especially Alund are easier. The prophet of our village said he was my partner, my guid on my dangerous quest i'm destined for." She said.

Alund cawed again. Knowing exactly what he wanted she held out her arm and he landed on it. She kissed his head again and he hopped to her shoulder. She looked back at Kyle.

Rikku realized her mistake. She threw a pin into each rune and right above his hand with barely a twitch of her hand. Alund cawed loudly and she saw the gaurds on the wall ready theor bows and get armour on. They knew that that cry Alund made was a warning.

"Not so fast." She growled, realizing her enimies could use the information for what it could be, a weakness. and she barley knew this man."You must come into the town with me. There, I will give you a pen and ink and some parchment and you can write about this and maybe, just maybe, you can tell what ever your summoning, if it is a person or animate object, later. And once I trust you."

She had four more pins ready in her hand just incase he resisted. Just a little hesitation, a move to his staff. And all four would hit special points on his neck and head. Making him forget the past hour.
