Named after the Greek Goddess of the hearth and home because of its friendly staff and patients. Don't think the easy medication access, food stock and medical experts making a hospital safe. Statistics say when a zombie outbreak occurs the ghouls literally radiate from hospitals because, well, where do people go when they are injured or dead? The place is tall, seven floors high, though it is relatively small width and length wise. If you want to make this place a safe haven, come with friends and come loaded, it won't be an easy task.

Onyx walked through the city, stumbling every once in a while from the pain and alarming blood loss. He let out a low rummble, searching for his friend. "Hurrrrrrrmmm" He purred softly, feeling Slate's presence close by. He looked at the hospital building, wondering why Slate would be going there.
He walked in and fallowed his way past the hallways of hospital gown wearing zombies and dead nurses and pushed a door open with his unwounded shoulder and head. The stairs lead downwards to a basement and there were almost no zombies from what he could see with his blurring vision. He reached the floor and turned around to look at a large metal door that was open, a white florescent light coming from it. He could tell Slate was just past the door. "Hmmmmr?" He called lightly, asking for help but didn't get an answer. He walked past the door, dripping blood on the white tiles beneath him. Suddenly, the metal door shut behind him and Onyx looked around, panicked. He was in a large white room with glass for walls. He spotted Slate on the ground, uncontentious and ran over to him, letting out panicked noises and removing a hand from his bloody shoulder to shake the white creature softly.
His head bolted up at the sound of vents turning on to see a light grey mist enter the room, his vision going hazy before he fell next to his partner. The white lights covered most of his vision and the sound of an air tight door broke the silence o the room. Soon a dark figure hovered over him.
"Ach, no vonder you vere late." The figure knelt next to Onyx and he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Ve have some friends out zere, no? Good to know zat ve have test subjects for you and youah buddy." The figure turned it's head toward Slate. "If only he vere as violent as you are." The figure stood up and turned toward the door he had come through. "Don't vorry, I vill patch you up as good as new." Onyx heard before his vision and other senses went dark.
((Plot twist. :U

Onyx's vision activated, a little hazy at first, lolling his head from side to side slowly, finding the movement slightly restrained. The world was shrouded in bright white lights but soon shadows started to form shapes around him. His "eye" fallowed a moving figure, the one he had seen before. His vision clipped off for a second, the world coming back into view a little clearer when he opened it once again. The human was cast in a dark shadow, despite the low-hanging bright light over himself and the one next to him, a few feet away. He looked below the other light to see Slate strapped to a table with metal chains and leather straps, fully awake and looking back at him. Onyx found himself in the same situation. The human picked up a small wet cloth that smelled of alcohol and whipped down the front of Slate's neck. He then grabbed a large syringe filled with a green fluid, the needle shimmering in the light. He put a little pressure on the piston and the liquid shot out the needle a bit. He turned his head toward Onyx.
"Ah, I zee zat ve are avake. In time to zee youah friend get hiz new...update, I zupose. " He said, the light showing his smile slightly. He turned to Slate, using one hand to grab the back of his neck with a latex glove and held it there as he lowered the needle to the flesh and pushed down, the metal breaking flesh. Slate tensed and let out a gurgling noise, obviously in pain. Onyx struggled against his bonds and let out growl. The scientist payed no attention to the pain or rage from either of them, except with a mere chuckle. Once the fluid was gone from the needle, he removed it, picking up a small sq uare of cloth and wiped away the tiny drop of blood from the pale creature's neck. Slate turned his head away from them and let out a few violent coughs, Onyx letting out a growl at the human.
"I'm glad zat zee affection program vorks out nicely." He said placing a hand on Onyx's head and petted slightly, the growling of the creature subsiding. "I'm even more glad zee obey program vorked out even bettah." He said with a smile. He turned back to Slate and touched his throat slightly with two fingers, checking his condition. "Zis should be a nice little tool for you both. It vill certainly help vith escorting me through zis city." He said before stepping back to the small metal shelf and removing two more needles filled with a purple solution. "Now, I'm going to administer a corresponding program, just in case on of youah program fails." He said before going over to Slate and cleaning the area where a normal Human's belly button would be with a swab. "Zis may...sting a little." He whispered and dove the needle in.
Slate let out a choked cry of pain, his back arching for a good minute before his body went limp, passing out. Onyx panicked, struggling against the table and it's bonds and calling out for the other creature. The scientist walked over to Onyx and cleaned the same area before stabbing him with the needle. Slate took in a sharp intake of breath, his waist trying to push away from the needle and into the table as his back curved up to try and pull away from the pain as well while his arms and legs kicked and thrashed, screeching out his pain before everything went dark.
((Yeah, I'm going to have to give up on his German accent soon. I'm failing here. ANYWAYS you can now feel bad for Slate and Onyx.))
