 Aeru came forward, gazing around exitedly.Her second battle!She pulled a pokeball from her poket, grinning widley."Alright Rainer, this'll be your fight!"She threw forward the ball, releasing onto the ground her Riolu, Rainer.
Rainer looked around, arms folded across his chest as he waited for the opponent.

Falcon stepped into the arena; a small Skitty bounding after her. Still, today it wasn't her who was fighting; Falcon raised a hand and caressed the Dragonair who was srawled over her shoulders. His serpentine body flowed down her back and his tail was wrapped around her waist; if she hadn't always made a point to make her body strong, transporting her Dragon like this would have caused her endless pain. As it were, Cale rarely left his perch. But today... Today he would. Last time, Kiliina had fought Aeru's Charmander; today, Cale was up against her- Riolu? Falcon blinked; how the blazes had she found...? Falcon shook her head, torn between being impressed and just plain envious. But as Cale started to glide from her shoulders, she realised there wasn't any real envy there. She smiled slightly at the other Trainer. This could be difficult; Riolu, a Fighting-type, wasn't as fiercely strong as it's evolution; but it was far from weak despite it's cute looks. Falcon stood back, Kiliina settling at her feet, as Cale entered the ring.

Aeru watched at Falcon came into the arena.Her second battle against Falcon, though it appeared this time she would be facing not a skitty, but a dragonair.An excited grin was on her face as she looked down at Rainer."Alright, we can do this!Go Rainer, use quick attack!"
Rainer fell quickly into a sort of offensive stance before dashing forward at the dranonair, fist's swinging as he came closer.

"Careful, Cale!" The Dragonair cast her a look from his position in the arena; one that clearly told her that he thought the Riolu was no match for him. Falcon frowned. "Don't underestimate him!" she yelled at Cale. The Dragonair realised she knew something about the Pokemon he didn't; and he started to move out of the way- too late. The Riolu was upon him; although the attack landed on the back half of his serpentine body. Falcon nodded to herself; thinking. "Get a bit of distance, and use Dragon Breath!" Cale flew backwards; inhaling as he went. Deep inside him he infused the air with draconic flames; before forcing them in a beam at the Riolu. (Dice Roll) Falcon knew the Riolu's defense would mean the attack would have to be incredibly strong; and she was relieved to see Cale put his all into it. She pumped the air. "That's it; that's great!" 6 Damage! Roll * 14 / 17 = 5.7 = 6

"Rainer, dodge it!"
But she was a tad too late.Rainer threw his arms out infront of him, trying atleast not to take it full on, though the force of the attack send him skidding backwards.
"Alright Rainer, go at it with a force palm!"
Rainer shook off the draonair's last attack before once again rushing forward, throwing forward his right palm at the opponent.

"Cale, look out!" The Dragonair blinked; trying to move away, he was too slow compared to the smaller Pokemon; and the Force Palm sent him flying backwards. He hit the dirt and skidded along the ground, throwing up a cloud of dust. Falcon bit her lip; the Riolu was really very strong. She thought for a moment as Cale rose from the ground; he was far away enough to get up speed, but how best to use it... Finally, Falcon nodded. "Cale, get some speed up and use Body Slam!" The Dragonair nodded; and dove through the air, aiming to slam the Riolu. (Dice Roll) He was a little dizzy from being throw to the ground, however; and his attack wasn't very accurate. Falcon bit her lip; anxious. 3 Damage! Roll * 14 / 17 = 3

"Rainer, dodge it!"
Rainer saw the draginair coming and managed to dodge sideways, though he was caught on the shoulder.He gave a slight stumble, thoguh quickly caught his balance.
"Hurry, counter!"
He swung out at the draginair, hoping to catch it before it could move away and out of range.

The blow caught Cale before Falcon could call out; and he hit the ground again, immediately rising and backing off a little. He was covered in dust from repeated encounters with the ground; and Falcon shook her head. The Riolu was too quick for them; and he had strength that matched his speed. As Cale's dark eyes met Falcon's ruby ones, they both knew the match was likely already decided; but it was never their way to give up. It was always about trying. "Alright, Cale! Use Dragon Breath again!" The Dragonair inhaled deeply; he had ignited the draconic flames inside his earlier, and he was able to send out a jet of the gold and blue flames without much of a pause. (Dice Roll) But he was more tired than he was showing; the beam of energy was weak- and poorly aimed. 2 Damage! Roll * 14 / 17 = 1.6 = 2

Rainer didn't have much need do dodge from the dragonair's poor aim, though he did anyways, a bit of the attack and heat still catching him a little.He stood and readied himself, glancing back at Aeru for a moment fo rthe next attack.
The battle seemed to be going better than had the last, thogh Aeru knew it could change at any time, but she was very muh enjoying her second battle."Alright, go at him with a quick attack!"
Rainer looked back at the dragonair, taking a couple steps forward, before kicking off into a dash at his opponent.

A physical charge at a distant opponent? Falco felt almost cheated; the Riolu had been showing incredible speed and a great variety of moves. A Quick Attack suddenly made it seem less like the incredible Fighting Pokemon and more like... Just another Pokemon. Falcon didn't need to say anything; Cale soared up and over the Riolu, although the bottom of his tail took a little damage. The Dragonair soared over the Riolu in a matter that could almost be described at serene. It wasn't that Cale didn't take battling seriously; he was just so relaxed about them. "Cale, get nice and high; then use Body Slam!" The Dragonair nodded; shooting a few feet in the air, before flipping himself and diving down towards the Riolu. (Dice Roll) Falcon realised her mistake as he picked up speed; the Riolu was so small, it could easily dodge; or Cale could miss entirely, and crash into the ground- causing himself more damage than he would to the Riolu. She held her breath; hoping that didn't happen. 5 Damage! Roll * 14 / 17 = 4.9 = 5

Aeru bit her lip, it didn't look as if Rainer's attack had done much, and the dragonair was coming down for a body slam."Rainder, quick, dodge it!"
Rainer hop-skipped backwards, though the draonair;s attack caught him, and he stumbled back a few steps.
"Alright, try counter again!"
With a nod he swung out at the dragonair, tyring to catch it before it could recover from it's own attack.

Cale barely managed to stop himself from crashing into the ground; but before he could get any distance between himself and the Riolu, it attacked him; and he did crash into the ground- again. He rose up; blowing sand from his face and shaking his head- although Falcon could read the exhaustion in every movement. She frowned; the Riolu was small and fast; but he still had a formidable attack and defense... The battle had been over the moment Cale had looked at his size and underestimated the Pokemon. Still, they wouldn't give up trying. "Cale, Slam!" The Dragonair nodded and twisted his body; aiming to Slam his weighted tail into the Riolu. (Dice Roll) It was quite an accurate move- although Falcon knew, with the speed the small Pokemon had, it could probably dodge out of the way. 5 Damage! Roll * 14 / 17 = 4.9 = 5

The attack's seemed to come quickly, one after another, and Aeru didn't manage to call out to Rainer as the draonair launched it's next attack.
Rainer threw his arms up, taking a good deal if the hit with them, though lost his footing and was thrown back a couple feet.
Aeru continued to bite her lip as she watched."Alright, up and go at him with another Force Palm!"
Rained leapt up and lunged forward, throwing his palm forward at the dragonair.

Falcon Samilka "Dodge that, Cale!" Falcon called. The Dragonair's luck seemed to have turned- although Falcon doubted it would last. Cale rose into the air as the Riolu came back at him- fast. He managed to rise mostly out of the way; but the Riolu's Force Palm sent him flying backwards. Falcon frowned and bit her lip, thinking. If things went badly, this would be the last command she gave this battle... She took a deep breath. "Cale, back off, so if it comes at you again you've got time to dodge!" The Dragonair soared through the air on his back; responding to her command. "Okay, now use Dragon Rage!" Cale cast her a glance which told her that, like the rest of him, his draconic powers were weak; but regardless, he tried to keep away whilst he took a deep breath, before sending the blue and gold flames at the Riolu. (Dice Roll) The attack was weak; and Falcon winced. It was badly aimed, too; the Dragonair was exhausted. "Focus, Cale!" she called out. 2 Damage! Roll * 14 / 17 = 1.6 = 2
