Kyle

In season two Kyle finds answers to many of his questions, answers that force him to lead a double life that could tear apart the only family he has ever known.

Nicole Trager

Marguerite MacIntyre plays Nicole Trager, the kind-hearted psychologist who took Kyle into her home and dedicated herself to helping him uncover his past. Kyle's departure at the end of season one shook Nicole so badly that she stopped practicing psychology. In season two, Nicole seems to be recovering. She's able to open up and give Josh and Lori the love and support they need. She even re-opens her practice. But when Nicole takes on a mysterious new client, she faces a challenge that is more that she ever imagined.

Stephen Trager

When Nicole brought Kyle home, Stephen wasn't sure he wanted one of his wife's patients living with his kids, let alone a boy straight out of lock-up. But Kyle's knack for fixing anything electronic impressed the tinkerer in Stephen, and Kyle's innocent, loving nature soon had Stephen feeling like he had another son. But when Kyle left the Tragers at the end of season one, Stephen was powerless to stop him. Stephen knows his family is just beginning to recover from the pain Kyle left behind, and he'll do anything to keep them from re-opening old wounds.

April Matson plays Lori Trager, the teenage daughter of Stephen and Nicole. Lori has done a lot of growing up since Kyle first came into the Trager household, and she is finally starting to come into her own. That doesn't mean the rest of high school will be easy for Lori. In fact, being her own person might make life a lot harder, especially when it comes to her on again / off again boyfriend Declan.

Josh Trager

Jean-Luc Bilodeau portrays Josh Trager, the youngest and orneriest member of the Trager family. Josh is always looking for an angle, whether it's getting Kyle to do his homework or making a quick buck. And yet, Josh always seems surprised when he finds himself in trouble. But when getting his first car turns out to be a lesson in growing up, it looks like Josh's days of constant boy-hood mischief may be over. Add to that a new relationship with a girl who can outsmart Josh at his own game, and you've got a recipe for a very interesting year.

Chris Olivero plays Declan McDonough, Lori's boyfriend and Kyle's confidant. But being Kyle's secret-keeper comes with a price. It drives a wedge between him and Kyle, and nearly destroys his relationship with Lori. And when Nicole Trager's mysterious new patient catches Declan's eye, things can only get worse.

Amanda Bloom

Kirsten Prout portrays Amanda Bloom, the sweet, innocent girl next door who becomes the girl of Kyle's dreams. Amanda believes there is good in everyone and felt an instant connection when she met Kyle. If Kyle hadn't left at the end of last season, Amanda might have found out what fairy-tale love is all about. But the way things are, she'll have to settle for a lesson in reality, courtesy of her boyfriend Charlie.

Jessi Parker

Jaimie Alexander plays Jessi, the sole survivor of the explosion at Zyzzx. Just like Kyle, Jessi appears in the woods, covered in the pink goo, with no belly button. But there's no nice family waiting for Jessi. Jessi is quickly re-captured by her creators and programmed to acquire and destroy her target: Kyle. Until she locks eyes with Declan, and her killer instincts take a back seat to an even stronger desire.

Emily Hollander

A former Special Operations officer, Emily works for Madacorp where her special skill set makes her the perfect overseer for Jessi. But the job quickly turns into more than Emily bargained for: she to assume the role of Jessi's sister. Playing house with XX would be okay, if Emily didn't have her own home and a 4-year-old daughter named Paige who can't understand why mommy is away so much.

Andy Jen Sen

Carol Bloom

Carol Bloom is Amanda's mother. She has an extreme disinterest in Kyle because he came from a detention center, banged up Amanda's car, broke into their house but ultimately because Kyle is the reason Amanda came home from a conservatory in New York. Kyle isn't really responsible for all those things and as Amanda and Kyle's relationship progresses, she is becoming more and more open.

Hilary

Chelan Simmons has a reoccurring role as Lori's best friend, Hilary. In the beginning she was completely into herself and a bit of a slut, sleeping with Amanda's ex-boyfriend Charlie while they were still together. As the show has progressed she has grown up to become a major character in show, becoming a more mature, dependable friend.

Adam Baylin

Adam Baylin portrayed by J. Eddie Peck created Kyle. Adam was born to a mother after 13 months of pregnancy, but she died during child birth. In his younger years, Adam and Sara went to school together at U-Dub, where Steven Trager would teach years later. Adam latter attended the University of Washington, where he met Professor William Kern. Together, they created the company known as Zzyzx to study the possibility of maximizing human brain power. Adam hired Tom Foss to keep tabs on 781227 while he hid from Zzyzx with Brian. Tom kept in contact with Adam even after 781227's escape from Zzyzx and meeting the Trager family.

Sara Emerson

When Sara Emerson attended the University of Washington, she won many awards, and once got in trouble for painting the answers to an exam in a lecture hall, along with the Latnok symbol. Sara and Adam Baylin began dating sometime before 1982, and frequented a diner just off of route 12 near Seattle. They etched their initials into a table during their last trip to the diner. Sometime later, Sara supposedly died and Brian Taylor extracted her DNA in order to create Jessi using Adam's research.

Brain Taylor

Brian Taylor was a "friend" of Adam Baylin's. He was later revealed to have been working undercover for William Kern and later alongside Julian Ballantine. He is a former member of the Latnok Society. Brian "supposedly" took a picture of Adam and his girlfriend Sara at some point no later than June of 1982. When Sara died, Brian took her DNA and used it to create a clone who is now known as Jessi. In doing this, he technically became her biological father.

Mark

Josh Zuckerman plays Steven Treager's trusty teacher assisatant/amazing disc jockey, Mark. He connected with Lori at the Rack after she had a spat with Declan and they have been working their chemistry ever since.


Tom Foss

Tom Foss was a strong member of Madacorp until he got his assignment to terminate 781227 (Kyle). From then on he worked for Adam Baylin the creator of Zzyzx. When Baylin was assainated Foss took over the job of caring for Kyle and teaching him everything Baylin knew.
