Hello everyone.
Sorry for the lack of story contests for the guild. Starting August 1st, and finishing August 25th, will be a new story contest (at last).
August's Theme: Lessons Learned, Prices Paid
Write a story about a lesson your avatar or your character (or anyone that you have made up for the guild) has learned, and what price it came with. Be creative - be unique! Make your character suffer, and continue to suffer, or give them a happily ever after, or give them an in between. Or something.
RULES:
Must be between 2,000 - 5,000 words.
Please use decent spelling and grammar.
Don't cheat in any way, shape, or form.
Have fun!
OTHER:
This STARTS August 1st. Do not submit anything until that time. You can write and work on your story now of course.
This will END August 25th. So it has to be on this part of the forum by 12:00 AM Central US Time (the time zone I live in) August 25th. Use Google if you don't know what time 12:00 AM my time is for you.
VOTING TIME will start 12:01 AM (Central US Time) August 26th. Voting time will then END on 12:00 AM (Central US Time) August 30th.
Winners will be announced on August 31st.
Prizes are going to be listed later on, depending on what occurs for this, and so I will get back to you on that. Most likely will be the prizes from previous contests.
I hope you all have fun with this new theme! But remember - nothing happens until August 1st!
