Cherry Milkshake
I see and I heard people feed TBs less in Racetracks so they can run faster without slowing down with so much weight.
Racehorses get fed a lot, actually.
I used to go the Philadelphia Park all the time, my friend's trainer works and lives there.
The horses get fed two huge meals a day, like, one meal was about twice the size of what a regular TB would get off the track. It's all real high-energy feed too. The horses didn't get hay, but they do get a lot of food with each meal.
The day of the race the horses didn't get to eat till after they ran, and they can't be fed and watered after the race until they urinate, so they can run a drug test.
3nodding That's how it was at Philly, anyway.
