Yeah, it's just a fantasy story for entertainment. As long as Mr. Potter doesn't compel you to join some witchcraft cult, don't worry about it. lol

I don't think its a matter of right or wrong. It does depend on how you look at it. If you don't try to be like the witches then it can be okay. Its a magical book, and thats were it should stay- in the book.

I think Harry Potter is OK, as long as we keep him as fiction, and not start going out and trying to cast spells.

It's a great fictional series (which I'm now sad to have completed), and the reactions people have for it are different. If someone wants to be Wiccan because of it, then let them do it. It's their own stupidity.

I see it this way. Everyone knows that the book is Fiction, right? well, then they all know that it isnt real. I see no harm in it then. Its just reading a book for the enjoyment of escaping the world around you into a world of intrigue. It's not like the book is possesed and tells people its real and then people try and cast magic spells. They know its not real. Simple as that. Its just like reading a different book. The Bible says that witchcraft and wizardry is a sin. But, a sin is the act of doing it. By reading, you aren't using withcraft. Also, since the Bible says its a sin, the Bible also says lying is a sin. If you read a book about lying, is that wrong? Should you not read that book anymore? Well, you get the point. Thats just my view on the subject.

I've never read any of the books or seen any of the movies. I have no interest in magical movies/books whether their fantasy or not.

Well U all speak of how it is fiction and or not tru. There enlies the issue at hand. I myself have friends that are wiccan. Friends that I consider my own blood. My brothers and sisters if U will. They believe that all that stuff is real. It's sad but tru.

Futhermore, I believe that witchcraft is a real thing. It has to do with spirtual influnces. Things that cannot be explained by science or other matters of sorts. Now I know that it does not come from God and am convinced that it comes from satan. Still it is real stuff!!! U cannot believe in one side and completly ignore the other. It dun work that way!

"All I can say is that its the most stupid movie I have ever seen.[not litteraly...just heard about them and seen the trailers.]..I wouldnt dare read it nor watch it...and thats my own little personal note...But if people enjoy it, okay then...but I dont find it entertaining one bit, and i dont like what its about....I cant say if its right nor wrong...all I can say it to me, I just dont like it."

Personally, i'd love for more kids to be like hermione granger (the main female character) she's devoted to pretty much everything that she does, from school, to extracuricular (SPEW) to her friends. she is smart studious and not easily detered or talked out of something. damn we could use more kids like that in the world too bad she's a fictional witch so kids shouldn't act like her or they'll go to hell.

I know what U mean. I also used to mess with Wiccan stuff & have many Wiccan/Pagen friends. I want them all to be saved. I believe that I was meant to be a friend of theirs in order to bring them to Christ!

Bishop 12

2 Kings 2:23-24
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

Daniel 5:11
11 There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods. King Nebuchadnezzar your father—your father the king, I say—appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners.

Genesis 44:1-5
1 Now Joseph gave these instructions to the steward of his house: "Fill the men's sacks with as much food as they can carry, and put each man's silver in the mouth of his sack. 2 Then put my cup, the silver one, in the mouth of the youngest one's sack, along with the silver for his grain." And he did as Joseph said.

3 As morning dawned, the men were sent on their way with their donkeys. 4 They had not gone far from the city when Joseph said to his steward, "Go after those men at once, and when you catch up with them, say to them, 'Why have you repaid good with evil? 5 Isn't this the cup my master drinks from and also uses for divination? This is a wicked thing you have done.' "
