 Piney grabbed a Pokeball out of her backpack and smiled. Flinging it into the air, she shouted, "Let's do this! Go Fai!" The Dratini bursted out of the Pokeball in a red flash, her brooch shining seven colors in the stadium light. "Are you ready? Use an Aqua Tail!" Fai leaped up and spun in the air, her stiff tail cloaked in bubbles ((HP: 35/35 4 damage done))

Falcon had been lounging around when her opponenet had entered. Instantly, Kiliina ran into the ring; and stood, ready. The other trainer released a Dratini; and Cale, Falcon's Dragonair, watched in interest as it attacked Kiliina with an accurate Aqua Tail attack. "Kiliina, dodge!" Falcon called. The tiny Skitty ran to one side; but the attack landed on her flank and her legs buckled. She caught herself as Falcon called out to her again. "Now, spin into an Iron Tail attack!" Kiliina instantly spun; whirling in a circle to attack with her hardened tail. (Dice Roll) But she hadn't had time to recover from the hit to her back end; and her attack held hardly any power. 2 Damage! Damage:

Fai attempted to twist herself to avoid the Iron Tail attack, and nearly made it. The tail struck her lightly across the face and she went skidding on the floor. Not fazed at all, she got up and turned to face her opponent. "That wasn't so bad wasn't it? Pour your energy into a Dragon Rage attack!" Fai inhaled deeply and exhaled with such a force that blue flames sped at the Skitty at top speed. ((HP: 33/35 1 damage done))

"Come on, Kiliina! Do your best! Dodge it!" Falcon encouraged the small feline; who tensed up as the Dratini charged up a Dragon Rage. At the last minute she dove to one side; not leaving her opponent time enough to re-aim. Still, she wasn't unscathed; she mewled and examined her tail briefly, before preparing herself. "Okay, Tackle!" Falcon called. They had got off to a poor start, but Kiliina had done well with that dodge. Falcon frowned in concentration as the Skitty sprinted at her foe; launching herself at it when she drew closer. (Dice Roll) Her back end still ached from the pounding earlier; but Kiliina tried her best to make up for her lack of power by trying her best to be accurate. 4 Damage! Damage: 4

Fai, briefly dazed from putting her energy into the Dragon Rage, couldn't avoid the Tackle and was struck right in the gut. It wasn't powerful enough to launch her straight into the air, but her back smashed against the wall and she cried out in pain. "Fai! Don't worry! Everything will be alright! Just use... Thunder wave!" Piney hoped that it was the right move to order, as Fai launched small jolts of electricity. ((HP: 29/35 8 damage done))

"Kiliina, watch out!" Falcon remembered Kiliina's previous encounter with electricity; and how badly she had taken it. She held her breath as she watched the small feline; hoping against hope Kiliina could avoid it. But the tiny Skitty panicked; running back and forth at the sound of the attack, until the electricity ripped into her. She screamed at her muscles spasmed and Falcon's hands rose to her throat. "Come on, Kiliina! Won or lose; just don't give up!" She watched, anxiety in her chest, as the small Pokemon rose to her feet. Kiliina looked over to her Trainer; and even though the electricy pulsing through her muscles made her twitch, Kiliina's eyes told Falcon all she needed to know. Falcon closed her eyes as she issued the next command. "Alright, Kiliina... Use Return!" The move based on loyalty... The tiny Pokemon kicked off from the ground; rapidly closing the distance between her and her opponent. As she drew close, she launched herself at the Dratini. She would never give up! (Dice Roll) Not even noticing the electricity pulsing through her muscles, she threw all her energy into the attack. 7 Damage! Damage: 7

Fai saw the Skitty charging at her, thinking that it wouldn't hurt as much as the previous attack. But she sorely underestimated and shrieked as the Return scored a massive hit. The Dratini flipped over and smacked into the wall again with a hard thud. Piney gritted her teeth as she watched her sliding her way to the ground. "Get up Fai! We're not giving up yet!" She yelled and the injured Pokemon rose from the floor with as much enthusiasm as her trainer. "Show them a Twister attack!" Piney called out, making Fai spin around in a spiral motion. Seconds later, a large tornado roared throughout the stadium and wrecked its way to its target. ((HP: 22/35 6 damage done))

"Kiliina, look out! You must avoid that!" Falcon called out. She knew the devastating effect Twister could have if it was accurate. "Mew!" Kiliina nodded and sprinted left; but she didn't predict the twister cutting her off. She backed off, eyes wide; before turning and trying to run away. But it was too late. The tornado whipped her up; and whisked her into it's spin. Battered by rocks and sand the tornado had picked up, Kiliina mewled; then she was hurled out of the winds, to skid along the ground like a thrown rag doll. She tried to stand; but fell over, unbalenced. Falcon winced. "Come on! Do your best!" The tiny feline tried to pull herself up; and succeeded, although she was wavering on her paws, clearly dizzy. Falcon bit her lip. Kiliina only had knew none-physical attack and it had never been used with much success; but she was too dizzy to run in towards the Dratini. "Okay, use Uproar!" The Skitty gave up trying to see straight; and, eyes closed, she started screeching as loud as she could. (Dice Roll) The horrific screeches echoed off the walls; and Falcon clapped her hands over her ears. Kiliina seemed to draw strength from her own noise and increased in volume until Falcon was on her knees with her arms over her head; and Cale the Dragonair had actually retreated to his Pokeball. 8 Damage! Damage: 8

Both Piney and Fai winced as the Skitty's Uproar increased in volume. Piney has the hands to cover her ears, but Fai had none and was left to suffer in the deafening screech. She flailed about and whined, adding to the racket. "Fai... Use a Rage attack! Now! Before it gets any worse!" She tried to issue her command over the Uproar. Hoping that the severe damage done by it would add more power to Fai's rage attack. The small dragon did her best to ignore the noise and lunged at the Skitty, surrounded by furious red flames. ((HP: 14/35 5 damage done))

"Kiliina!" The Skitty ignored her Trainer; or couldn't hear, it didn't matter. The affect was the same. Falcon yelled as loud as she could. "Kiliina!" The Skitty slowed her mewling; opening her eyes as she turned to look at Falcon. The Trainer shook her head. "Look out!" Her voice wasn't annoyed- although Kiliina knew she was. She should have been paying more attention! The tiny Pokemon turned around fast- sending her head spinning again. She blinked and recovered in time to see the Dratini headed for her. She let out a mewl of panic and leaped sideways to try to avoid it. The attack still hit her in her hind quarters; sending her spinning through the air. Falcon bit her lip. The tiny Pokemon was clearly exhausted; but she pulled herself to her paws, refusing to give in. Falcon's heart swelled with pride at the brave little Skitty. "Alright, Kiliina... Use Iron Tail!" At her command, Kiliina started a slow, slightly wobbly run at the Dratini. As she drew close she turned into a tight spin; stiffening her tail to strike her foe with. (Dice Roll) She may be exhausted; but the tiny Pokemon would throw everything she had into this! She knew she was beaten; her head swam and her muscles were weakened by electricity. But whilst she could stand, she would do her best! 8 Damage! Damage: 8

Fai, being in a Rage, was too blinded to notice the Skitty's glowing tail until too late. Squeaking, she took the blow hard and was flung into the center of the stadium. "No!" Piney shouted out and grabbed the railing. She was relieved to see Fai getting up, though the bruises and scratches were clearly slowing her down now. "We're almost there Fai! Hang on!" She leaned back slightly and wracked her brain for the move that would decide the battle. "Use another Thunder Wave!" Piney commanded. Fai took a deep breath before sending some more sparks and lightning at the Skitty. ((HP: 6/35 2 damage done))

"Focus!" When Falcon was sure the single word had sunk in, Falcon called out again. "You can dodge it!" Kiliina was shaking slightly; but then she tensed her muscles and sprited away to one side. A stray spark could her legs and sent the electricity already running through her muscles into action. Losing control of her body, Kiliina stumbled and fell; before pulling herself back onto her paws and whirling around. "You're doing great, Kiliina! Now- Tackle!" Falcon was sure this would be her last command of the fight; Kiliina was exhaused, and the electricity was causing her to lose control of her body. Still, the Skitty hadn't given up- she ran, slowly and shakily, at the Dratini; and as she drew closer, launched herself at it. (Dice Roll) Her attack was weak; but the tiny kitten was focused, and the attack was accurate. She may not win the battle; but she'd still do her best! 5 Damage! Damage: 5

Fai tried to jump out of the way of the attack, but failed miserably. The Tackle caught her while she was scrunching her body and knocked her over. She barely had the energy to lift herself off the ground, but still has the spirit to fight. "That's a good girl..." Piney muttered, hoping that the Dratini could pull off one last move. "Let's give it one last shot! Aqua tail!" Fai gave a menacing glare as she whirled her tail around, covered in bubbles once again. ((HP: 1/35 4 damage done... Geebus. You won by a hair. XD))

"Kiliina, look out!" The Skitty looked up in time to try nd run out of the way; but the attack could her across the rump, sending her face straight into the dirt. Falcon prepared to leap into the ring; but Cale- who she had re-released from his Pokeball- tightened his grip on her shoulder. Falcon could hardly believe it! The battered Skitty; exhausted, shaking, was pulling herself to her paws. Falcon held her breath until Kiliina regained her balence; tears started streaming down her face at her Pokemon's dedication. "Kiliina..." she murmered. Then Falcon raised her voice to give what she knew would be the final command, now- although not in the way she had earlier thought it would be. "Kiliina... I'm so proud! Use Return!" The Skitty's eyes met Falcon's; and she could see in them that Kiliina would win them this match. The Pokemon nodded; and ran with haltering steps towards her opponent. As she drew close, Kiliina gathered herself- and launched herself, almost lovingly, at the Dratini. (Dice Roll) What little energy she had left; she fueled it with her dedication to this, to living life as she battled- always doing her best, win or lose. 4 Damage! Damage: 4

Fai couldn't do anything but watch the Skitty charging at her. She had no strength to dodge or counter, and knew she lost, though she never tasted such a thing. Bracing herself for impact, Fai and hit squarely on the head and rolled over backwards several times. She laid on the floor, her brooch covered in dust. With one last sigh, the Dratini blacked out. Hands shaking, Piney took out her Pokeball and recalled her. "You still did awesome. We almost had them. We'll just win next time ok?" She told Fai through her Pokeball. Turning to the Skitty's Trainer, she grinned and gave her a wave. "That was a really close battle. I bet next time won't be like that!" She said while turning to leave the stadium. ((HP: 0/35))
