So, my brother claims that I am the only person in the world who actually likes Dan Bejar's voice. And I don't believe him.
So. If you feel so inclined (or if you're very very bored), perhaps you can click on that link (it's a link to his band's myspace), listen to An Actor's Revenge and tell me what you think of it. Surely I'm not the only person who likes it?
{(and even if you don't like it- I still managed to convince somebody to listen to Destroyer. hooray.)}

His voice certainly is unique. I don't dislike his voice, but I'm not sure if I could listen to an entire album at once.

... except Toronto. And Ottawa. And Ontario and Quebec and Montreal and Alberta and the Northwest Territories and Winnipeg and pretty much anywhere except Vancouver, Nunavut, and Newfoundland.
And speaking of being not off topic, I can barely listen to a whole album by him. xd Not because of his voice, just because some of his songs annoy me or are too long. What really bugs me about Destroyer is I can't sing any of their stuff: It just doesn't work with another singer.

I love singing, whether it be along with an album, or whilst playing guitar, it matters not! I probably suck, but I don't let people hear me so I can't be criticized.

I like his voice, I don't love it but it's interesting. I definitely couldn't sit around for hours listening to his music (the way I can with bnl!) but I do like his voice. Let your brother know he is wrong!
