Well I was wondering how many of yo uguys have some experience in prgramming. Reason being i help with a programming group and were hoping to boost our numbers. any of you interested?

It's acutally a group. We use PHP, Python, and we're starting a game development course in a few weeks with a pros oversight. if yo uguys want in i can post a link. I know a lot of you are decently compitent with Linux.. .and possibly computers in general -lols-. Yes, lols is correct, in fact it's an entire sentence whilst lol != sentence.

I never said it was fo a browser. we're going to do a general game design course that also incorperates some engines, like torque and game maker, and we're making pong in python. if yo guys are interested can post a link to the group.

I know HTML, CSS, a bit of javascript, and logic, all self taught, I want to pick up php, python (or perl) C/C++ but I don't have the time right now sweatdrop

HTML and CSS are not programming languages, they're markup languages.

JavaScript loosely qualifies razz

Why does everybody think HTML, XML, CSS, etc are all programming? They don't *do* anything other than alter the way displayed data looks - they're just markup languages since they can't actually process anything. Languages like PHP and Perl that can take dynamic input and logically decide what do to with it, that's a programming language razz

BTW, I know perl and object pascal, and have enough familiarity with C/C++ and python to fix bugs in existing programs.

LOL I know that, but I meant it as a joke, I know that most people make that mistake and thats why I said it. Can I guy not have fun?
