The battlegrounds is a series of arenas, all set for battling; with fields in between. Some arenas are covered in sand; some grassy; and some are even filled with water. There are arenas to suit any Pokemon's preferred environment. The fields are lush and green; with small patches of trees and bush here and there. A small Pokemart, selling only items for battle, is nearby; along with a nurse to heal Pokemon.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT for battling. This is for pre-and-post battle RP. Please take all battles to the Battlegrounds sub-forum.

Post-battle...Psyren The girl shook her head, thinking for a moment before nodding back with a smile. "Yeah...I guess you're right. Both Kiliina and you worked well together as a team, it's a good model to emulate from." Flame walked over and let the heat from its' body help to attempt to dry off Kiliina as Ocean stared at Cale's graceful form. "I think he's impressed by your Dragonair there. Must have taken a bit of training to get it evolved, but I'm sure it was worth it when you're a Trainer, no?" Ocean nodded along with his trainer and waved back to Cale, as to display his impressions along with hers. Kiliina shivered, and settled down into a little ball of pink fluff; purring and rocking at the warmth. Falcon smiled at the small feline; before turning back to the trainer. "Actually, I didn't evolve him- we met like this." Falcon rubbed Cale's head and he leaned into the caress. She thought back to the day they met; it still seemed so incredible to her.

"Really?" Psyren replied, as Ocean kept waving back at Cale playfully.
"Yeah, I've met my bunch throughout the region, I've got a few but I hope we'll remain good friends throughout."
"So...how did you meet Cale then, if you don't mind me asking?"

Cale slid down Falcon's arm; she could feel his significant weight lifting off her shoulder as his head came close to Ocean's, and his deep eyes simply gazed at the Pokemon with curiosity. Falcon felt a little uncomfortable; apart from Mauser, she rarely spoke at length with people. Rubbing the back of her neck, she didn't realise she had pulled her hair back from her long, delicate ears revealing her heritage. "Well... I had been looking for Pokemon for some time, and found myself on the beach. I saw a serpentine shape in the water and waded in; and then he... He came to me." Falcon's ruby eyes surveyed her Pokemon. "We were both lonely; both needing someone to..." She stopped here, and changed what she was saying. "He came to me and allowed me to be his trainer." She felt her pale cheeks flush slightly; embarressed at what she had almost said.

Psyren nodded, noting her ears but not saying a word. I mean, who was she to be surprised by such a thing if she herself had not had a wolf's tail sticking out of her back!
'Ocean and I just found each other and soon after that Flare, Ruka and Vespi joined in as well...I don't know how to explain it; perhaps its' just animal instinct or perhaps...we were just drawn together by fate.' Psyren's wolfish ears popped up as Ocean gently patted Cale's angel-shaped ears and was enamored by the shape and feel.
'Squirtle.'
Psyren turned then to face Vespi and Ruka, the former resting in a nearby tree while the latter trained silently in the sand, practicing its' Aura Sphere attack.
'How is Kiliina doing, if I can ask? Getting any warmer yet?'

Cale gave the Squirtle an odd look; before nudging at the Pokemon with his blunt nose. He'd not communicated with other Pokemon much, other than his few battles and Kiliina; and the attention was bizarre to him. Falcon looked down to the Skitty; who was still rocking and purring. She covered her smirk with one hand. "I, ah... I think she might complain if Flame stops warming her. She looks pretty dry, though." The tiny feline seemed oblivious to everything around her but the warmth ruffling her short fur. Falcon suppressed a chuckle at her behavoir.
