Lyra nodded and went back to work. Of course with only an hour left before she could go home, there wasn't much to do. The place had been dead all night and this hour wasn't going to change. She noticed Mya was busy in the drive thru and pulled out her cell phone. She had a few text messages, but decided to read them later. Although she read the one from her sister,
"I have more information for you
I left it on the table
I'm going to bed
Good night Lyra
Have fun working the night shift!" Lyra laughed and put her cell away. She wasn't going to take the chance on having the night manager take it again. She took a sip of her soda and refilled it, she looked over to see that Mya was doing nothing now. She yawned and looked at the clock,
"Just 45 minutes and I'm out of here." she muttered. She yawned one last time before she dozed off at the counter.
It took a while for Mya to notice, but when she did she walked over and woke her up.
"Mya?! What time is it?!"
"4:55, you started snoring so I woke you up."
"Thank you! I better get ready to go. Bye Mya!"
"Bye Lyra." she said as Lyra ran to her locker. She opened it and pulled out her sneakers and her jeans. She quickly changed out of the skirt and the heels. She then let her hair down and straightened it in the mirror.

She smiled and grabbed her bag and her jacket out of her locker. She folded up the skirt and took the shoes over to the counter, she placed her bag on the counter and put her jacket in it. She grabbed the sweater and folded it up and placed everything that the old bag gave her behind the counter. She walked over to the grill and took two chicken sandwiches and put ketchup on one and everything except mayo on the other. She grabbed a couple hash browns and an order of fries and put them in the bag, along with ketchup, straws, cream, sugar and napkins. She grabbed two cups and filled one with coffee and one with Fairy(mainly 'cause I think we should make a parody of Sprite, just in case.), she then grabbed the soda she had been drinking and added some ice and more soda and placed it on a drink tray. She smiled and made sure she had everything before walking out of the Chicken Wing and to Maria's house.
"It's good to not be at work anymore!"
