I just watch people. It scares me to no end to comprehend what I see. Just the other day people in nearly all of my classes at school were saying things about my sister, not neccisarilly mean things, but the fact in itself that they were talking about her, a mentally ill girl whom I adore,.. then laughing. Needless to say it pissed me off and saddened me to no end.
Jon, the people in Silsbee are very harsh. They have and in your case had to find ways to make themselves feel better about their own situation and that is why there is so much hate. Hate is what is wrong. Hate lead to the Holocaust, and it could happen again anywhere. Sadly to say, especially America. Hate is everywhere. Specially when religion is involved.

Thats messed up... why do people have to be that way? Just cus their down and they dont like their life doesnt mean they have to make fun of other people all the time. Its just so ******** wrong and theirs no stopping it. People are always gana be that way and i hate it... Im just glad theirs people like you in this world...

Idk, I think we might have offended some people. Or I have, and I apologize if I did but what I said is what I beleive. Unhealthily, I am constantly pondering the meaning of life.. it tends to cause me great depression when I do, and when I do get depressed I vent. When I vent, this what happens. Lol.. Anyways, yes, I would like to see someone elses opinion for a change and not hog the thought train.

pressured to post once again! xp i read these things and think, "gosh, gosh, gosh, GOSH , GOSH!"
umm hey, my name's Celeste, i'm new to this guild...I am yes, a catholic, but i like you guys, and you did say you wanted opinion.
I say, there's no reason to doubt God, (for me) some people (like my big bro) wantto look up spasms of stuff online, all disproving God, heck, i always hated science anyway. But to me, it's not about the science, it could never be, ever be, just because it has to be, because it doesn't...
look, ever seen something? really looked at something and said to yourself, "whoa. it exists." well, i'll tell you guys, i suppose, 'cos i haven't told anyone else, but...
last summer family and I were driving back from new mexico, i was starring out the window to the clear blue sky, few clouds, and then, my eyes saw something. It was a bubble, looked just like a bubble, a clear little bubble, way up high in the sky. I watched it for thirty minutes, and thought to myself, "now this is strange", because we hadn't stopped driving, but the bubble hadn't moved, hadn't gotten smaller, it just hung there, in the sky. I watched that bubble...forever...and you guys can't hate me for this, because i wasn't dreaming, I wiped my eyes, i kept starring at the bubble, but it kept turning into a...person, and little ghostly person, in a sitting position, tumbling in the air. *sigh* i finally told my family to stop the car after the bubble started to get occasionally hidden behind clouds, but they all got out. And they saw it too. I had stopped seeing the person, but just the same, i saw it, it wasn't just my mind, I saw it, and i was like "woah. he exists."
there's a story, but there's more, if you want it....

Me, personally, I don't think there's any definitive evidence to tell me one way or the other. However, if we were created by some form of deity, I now doubt it was because they loved us. What I'm talking about can be best explained in this example, taken from a review of SimCity: Societies, no less:
Ben Croshaw It's an idea that many people seem to latch on to that if we were created by some kind of god, then obviously he did it because he loves us so huggy-muggy much. Never are the holes in this theory more obvious than while playing god games because it seems when you place most people in the position of a god and give them responsibility over many tiny lesser beings, then their attitude towards them is usually less about beloved children and more about target practice.
Don't believe me? Play a Sims game sometime, and keep record of your thoughts.

However, if we were created by some form of deity, I now doubt it was because they loved us.
