I find the "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" series strangely appealing. Oh, and... ::blushes:: the World of Darkness books...particularly "Strange City."

haven't read any of the WoD book series but I'm currently miffed that a former lover borrowed Guilty Pleasures (first book in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series) and then lost it...or if he didn't is trying to find an opportunity to use it to get in my pants again...or at least trick me into seducing him like i had taught him to (i hate when i actually succeed at something it ends up biting me or worse in the a**)

Tolkien, Bradely, Rice, Le'Guin, etc. I love fantasy stuff. But I'm not at all ashamed of it. I know it's false and that it's not furthering my knowledge of my past. But it's still fun to read. I enjoy it just like "normal" people do.

I used to read fantasy books, but not so much anymore.
I think the best of them was The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and Animorphs.

As for games, I like RPGs. I don't know if it's neccessarily the fantasy factor in them, but I like just building up characters, and I don't like to finish some of them, because then it's just over usually. crying

I used to play Hero Quest, but that was a long long time ago, and I haven't played much since.
I don't like D&D, too much role playing. xp
