Actually, I think the world-swapping thing would be interesting.
Sorry, I'm gonna keep using Dark Samus because *points* love this dark samus. love this metroid.
The trophies might scatter? Think about it. If they went rogue and the Smash Mansion is basically in the center of s**t, then they might go and wreak havoc in areas they don't belong in.
Dark Samus w/ her Phazon in Hyrule, for example, where there's no cure, would be ... awful. cool Awfully AWESOME. /shot
But yeah, I really feel we should hold auditions for the villains. Quite frankly, they're important roles. It'd be fun, though, to kinda double-team.
We'd just have to avoid making sure we don't RP w/ ourselves.
And having a character hub subforum -- one forum topic for each -- would actually be very organized. We'd have to remind people to update it, though. Otherwise things may get chaotic.
And Bowser, I feel ya. Once I start typing, I can't stop typing lmaooo.
(By the way, unrelated note: I'm on the way home, guys. Missed y'all this weekend!!)

Yo! This isn't directly plot related, but ...
I was thinking maybe we should also have subforums set up with locations? I'm sure the previous guild must've done that, but I haven't seen anything yet, so I thought bringing it up would be cool? o: It helps keep things organized, with knowing locations of events and threads and all that, so we don't have one big jumbled thread?

I just want 2 start this i like everyone's ideas smash mansion sounds cool, but will it really work this time? i mean, i think an open world type land would be a little more difficult, but not too hard to work around. idk maybe its just me but i feel like being stuck to one place seems kinda boring, and im keen on exploring. so i think that instead of the smash mansion we could do open world and like at the top of each thread response we could say where our location is like *LOCATION* or however you do it. but idk man. maybe thats a dumb idea. also i dont want the trophies to be unimportant or "minor" i want them to be just as important as the main roster characters. idk im dumb

(I'M GETTING ANTSY TOO AHHH I think we have enough members at this point tbh!! I Just wish more would CONTRIBUTE)
Well, maybe we could reach a compromise; maybe that'd be a main "hub" but we'd have different worlds to explore that are connected. We'd have a main place to start, and then perhaps just EXPAND from there rather than just stay there?
We get to explore, we get a hangout, everyone wins!
And that's why I pitched the rogue trophy idea, tbh; I don't wanna neglect anyone. 8(

Phew... I just spent a few hours reading what everyone has mentioned so far, and I'm REALLY hoping I finally got it to sink into my pea sized brain by now... like I mentioned, it's not because anyone is explaining things bad or anything - I'm just... er, well... a slow learner? Not exactly what I wanted to say... but I can't think of anything else I was even going to say, hurhur~ xB
Buuuut, anywho - ignore my pointless babbling there! ^^;; Onto the important stuff - le plot and story!
From what I understood, it sounds to me like there are already plans for threads/sub forums - please, do correct me if I make a mistake - I'm just making sure I get it in my head the right way, lest I make myself look dumber than I already am, heh~ ^^;; There would be sub - forums for different worlds, where different characters would post in if they are currently in the mentioned world... is that right? If so, I think that's a really good idea - though I can imagine with the many options of worlds we would have to choose from, I'm guessing we would have to narrow it down to just a few picks - that is, if this is what we plan to do, of course.
Also, would we need to make profiles for our characters, by any chance? I don't know if that might be something we really need to do, since I'm sure most of us here would be familiar with all of the participating characters - if anything, perhaps making a thread/sub - forum, where we can make a little post, just saying who we are playing as, and perhaps even include a little info, such as who we are currently with, our most current location, who our friends/foes are - just little details that helps let others know what our characters are up to? If we did this, we could also update our own threads as it is needed, though including our locations and company in our actual posts, as a side thing, would also be helpful - I'm sure you all thought of this already, though. xP

As we are not completely certain as to what exactly we will be doing with things currently, I am not sure how much I can really add to much... buuuuuut, I shall try my best! >w<
I agree that we do, indeed, need to get some more villains/antagonists involved as well - after all, the heroes can't take all the glory for themselves, haha xP
Here is what I usually like to do, as it has helped me a lot in the past when trying to smooth out details for stories in roleplays: First, I would look and see what kind of 'good guys', per ce, are going to be involved, as well as 'bad guys', as well as maybe some neutrals who are just there to bring some surprises to things now and then - someone who isn't 'evil', but not exactly innocent... the mischievous troublemakers who really don't have a particular set goal in common with any main hero/villain, but still important to the story, nonetheless. For this, I'm thinking we will be set up into teams, at least for some points, and changed around, depending on what is going on currently in the story - both 'good guys' and 'villains' would most likely come to a point where an alliance is beneficial - and of course, there can also be the severing of ties, as we all know most Nintendo villains( and some heroes, haha xP ) are known to be quite the tricksters, and want to have their ambitions met, even if it means cutting ties with people from time to time. But really, I suppose this would only help in regards to building/destroying relationships between characters... that really didn't helped plot wise at all. X.X
But, something that kind of comes from that, which might be of use for making a story/plot - by taking each character's personal goals/ambitions, ect, the plot would, occasionally, change direction, but not compromise the story's main goal itself, which might be interesting to see (then again, I'm braindead, so maybe someone else already said most of this stuff, with much better ideas. X ~ X )
... Okay, I don't think I helped really, heh~ xD But I'd be happy to help with set up, if yo guys need it? If you have enough people to do it, then that's quite alright - just figured hey, I'm here, I deal with making threads a lot, might as well offer my help in some way. :3
