"I have you now," Soulstone hissed, and hit Leah with a powerful, point-blank Bump. The woman shot towards the earth in a blur and smashed into the ground, throwing up a cloud of powdered snow and clods of earth.
However, the Headmaster was not convinced she was down for the count. He flew down, commanding the earth around the crater Leah had created to rise up and make a circular wall. He landed on the top of the wall, pointing his wand into the center. His Divinity vanished as he concentrated all of Merlin's power into one spot. It didn't matter how strong Leah was - she could not withstand a blast of power at this level. Nobody could.
"Goodbye," Soulstone said, in an uncharacteristically cold tone, and blasted all of Merlin's power into the crater in one continuous stream. The aura flickering around him dimmed rapidly, and was almost unnoticeable when he finally stopped.
The Headmaster was drained and he sagged, but that was alright. He had won.

"Ow," a voice behind the Headmaster whined. "I think I broke a rib."

The Headmaster turned, startled, to see Leah standing only a few feet away from him atop the earth wall, clutching her side. "H-how did you--" he spluttered.

"Ghost," Leah replied, removing her hand from her side and wincing. Ooh, yeah, that was DEFINITELY a broken rib. She'd have to go to Gisa to get that healed, but she could do that after she dealt with the dumb Headmaster guy. "I'd really like to stay and play more, Mister Headmaster sir, but I've got a job to do."
Leah brought up her hands as if she were holding a bat and swung them as if she were swinging said bat towards the Headmaster. The sigil trail began, the Marks twisted themselves, and--
CRUNCH.
At the moment of impact, Leah summoned a giant hammer. The Headmaster went flying and crashed at the entrance of the school. Just as quickly as she'd summoned it, Leah banished the hammer away.
"Ta," she said cheerfully, as the Headmaster moaned in pain, and with another Ghost, she disappeared from view, and, presumably, the campus.

"Louis!" Amara shouted, running forward to the Headmaster's aide, Galan close behind her. The two professors knelt at Soulstone's side, trying to figure out the extent of the damage. "He's alive," Amara murmured. "That's the good news."

Kamala realized that the students hadn't yet been addressed. It was clear as day that the festivities of the night were over. "House representatives," she said, in her usual calm tone, "please lead your houses to the dorms. And be orderly about it."

"Healing kids!" Galan called, finishing his Diagnosis. Alive. Broken ribs. Internal bleeding. Jesus christ, old man, if you can't stand up to her then who can? "Extra credit assignment - five points for every professor healed. Go." Galan's hands began to glow and he began to work on the Headmaster. "And will someone please retrieve Caedah from the Fields? It'd be pretty damn awful if she froze to death."

The Headmaster raised his head weakly, feeling the last of Merlin's power drain out of the ground. Well, that had been a wasted effort. But at least his students were more or less safe - that was the important part.
Soulstone made a mental note to call a staff meeting sometime in the future and allowed himself to pass out.
(And that's the last of it! We can officially wrap up this event. There'll be a break from forum events for a little while, aside from any mini-events anyone wants to do/wants organized. This thread will be timeskipped shortly because I'm just gonna go ahead and assume nobody is going to do exit posts.)
