Ashley practically sat there like an idiot. "Uh...what just happened?" She asks out loud and felt really stupid.

Ashley gets up, not wanting to be there anymore. She personally hated hospitals and she seemed to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, especially since she didn't know how to deal with a female vampire.

 Zade dumped Laura on a hospital bed and let the nurses take care of the rest. He sighed down at her - she was basically half-conscious. She really looked horrible - not at all like the powerful swimmer he'd seen at the lake. He frowned and brushed some hair out of her face, and then immediately took a step back. He wasn't sure how protective Lyon was of Laura - if he was anything like Caetus, Zade had to mind his distance.

Laura was very quiet as the nurses and a doctor stated to exam her. One of the nurses drew back a curtain for privacy for the patient as the doctor was ordering the nurses around. Nurses were coming and going, bring back pints of blood and bandages. It wasn't until an hour till one of the nurses comes out to talk to someone who brought the girl.
"She is very weak still. She is throwing up constantly and she keeps shaking. She doesn't stabilize soon, her life may end. We're trying to stop the bleeding but it's in various places on her so were preparing for the worst." The nurse spoke.

Zade sighed. Pity, he thought, glancing at Laura. I did what I came here for. He looked down at her once more before sinking behind the curtain and pulling it shut as he turned away, looking for his sister. Bad things happened to people every day, but he wasn't about to put his life on pause for a near-stranger who'd basically treated him like he was nothing. He turned to Lyon. "Hey, she's safe here. You heading back to your room? 'Cause that's where I'm going." He had a clear conscience, knowing Laura would be okay here until she recovered - if she recovered - and he was no longer responsible for her. Exeunt to Room 301

The Grey Eyed Pureblood"...I'm staying for a bit." Lyon mumbled in a hushed tone as Zade brushed past him. He was useless. Here in this hospital, with all his power, all his wealth, the best he could do was wait it out. He was no doctor. He couldn't do anything but wait and hope that she would be okay. He paced back and forth in the waiting room, occasionally giving a sigh and rubbing his eyes in exhaustion and worry.

The nurse returns to Laura's side and tends to her like the rest of the medical team...a few hours later, Laura was calming down and she was resting peacefully, somewhat. She had veins in her hands and shivered in her sleep like if she was cold.

The Grey Eyed PurebloodLyon was finally allowed to enter Laura's room, where he stood by her bed. He looked down at her with sad, solemn eyes. He gently brushed a few strands of hair out of her face before he noticed her shiver. Grabbing the blanket huddle by her feet, he pulled it up and covered her. With a small sigh he turned around. He didn't want to disturb her rest any longer. He chose to leave the hospital for now, telling a nurse on his way out to contact him immediately when Laura woke. That way, he could return and check up on her well being, but also so then he could get the name of the ones who did this to her and deliver retribution to them. He departed the hospital to return home. (Exit)
