omg episode 9! -squeals- I love the love triangle going on between Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata. And I can't choose between whether I like ChixTai or ChixAra more.

Does anyone knows where I can find the english translation of the opening song? Oh, Sakura Parfait!! you studied Japanese, right? What was song about? I know the title was youthful...but what do lyrics says about it?

Finished watching episode 9... all I can say is "OMG I really LOVE this show" and I'm so touched with Taichi's actions. I'm starting to like Taichi now better than Arata... ( am I fickle minded like taichi's sister?) Taichi x Chihaya x Arata heart heart heart heart I don't know how much should I say... I don't spoil this to anyone who have not episode 9 yet... Crunchyroll have the episode 9 for members only, so you can use this link instead chihaya ep. 9I really hope you can tell me what you think of episode 9 whee

Sakura Parfait I think it's great. I was already somewhat familiar with karuta before I watched it because I played it once in my college's Japan Club at one of their club meetings, but the anime made me understand it even more. Also, you learn a little bit about Japanese history. I mean, in episode 3, Kanade goes on and on about the history of karuta in the courts. I thought that was interesting. And I love the characters, especially Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata. I'm sort of torn between being a ChihayaxTaichi and ChihayaxTaichi shipper. Do the karuta players look as intense as Chihaya and Arata when they play? Does the cards really fly around the room?

He's so sweet...I thought in the beginning on episode 9 that he made Porky buy some groceries when he " did you bought what I asked you" or something like that... but I didn't know it was a cake for Chihaya!!! Taichi so romantic and thoughtful. And then the almost kiss scene, when he ate Chihaya's cake...* squeals*
