Well that's good! May I ask how long you have been practicing/learning Japanese? I know it's a bit irrelevant, but I would like to know so I could have some motivation. I just started really, and noticed all that there is to learn.
Oh jeez, no worries! Haha speak your mind, boy!
Um.
"I started learning in a Japanese school about 6-7 years ago, but I picked it up again (seriously this time) in 2009!" - is mainly what I tell people. LOL. I don't really remember the dates very well, and it's been a crazy crazy journey. I'll just try and bullet point everything, since I write too much already. >___<
★ (Washington) Elementary School ... obsession with anime and poke'mon.
★ (Guam) Elementary School - Early Middle School ... still obsessed.
★ (Hawai'i) Middle School ... My Asian mum forced me to join a Japanese School. Started hating anime. Was bullied by my classmates, so hated all things Japanese. Stopped learning Japanese.
★ (Washington) Halfway through High School ... Met Japanese friends, and started learning Japanese again in my Junior year! Went to Japan after graduation (August-September 2011).
★ (Washington) College ... Studying seriously now. 3-4 hours every day. Took a placement exam in my college, and jumped into the 2nd year's advanced Japanese courses... as a 1st year. Completed the course in a year, and I am now a Japanese tutor at my school. I also was working at the Japanese women's college during my first year of college - teaching English classes at night.
★ (Tokyo) Halfway through College ... Transferring colleges, and moving to Tokyo in 2013!! ♥
Bah. So that's that... conclusion - over the course of seven years, I think! Only 2-3 of those years were serious...
If you want, my blog is really inspirational (so people say emotion_donotwant ), and I have some Japanese study tips on my old one! ♥ Anything to help you get started learning!!
