Xavier was able to break free and drop down onto his feet. He stumbles a bit trying to gain his footing. Once he was fully standing he tries to go for a forearm strike to MD.

Xavier goes in for another strike but is taken down by MD's lariat instead. Xavier drops onto the ramp with a loud thud.

Xavier is brought back up onto his feet then easily lifted into the air. He was then thrown back down onto the steel ramp, yelling out from the impact of his flesh hitting the hard steel.

Xavier took the stomp(s), unable to defend himself at that moment. He tries to roll himself up the ramp more and onto his stomach so he could push himself up onto his hands and knees.

The champ grabbed a handful of tights and the scruff of Cross' neck, and dragged his opponent up the ramp before sending him hurdling headlong into one of the tresses supporting the jumbo tron, which caused the challenger to stagger backwards holding his shoulder upon impact.

After Xavier took a few steps backward, Devastation would attempt to deliver a boot to his opponent's guts. If successful, he would then try to once again force Cross into a standing headscissors, this time also looking to secure a double underhook in the process...which, if all went according to plan, would potentially lead to the Master of Disaster trying to drop The Mother Of All Bombs (super tigerbomb) off the edge of the stage!

The challenger was able to break free of the double underhook, and even managed to launch the reigning International Champion flying with a back body drop. Devastation, however, didn't plan on going down alone, and quickly tried to grab Cross' hips as he got sent flying. If successful, the Marine would attempt to turn his opponent's counter into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb...although potentially landing a**-first on the concrete likely wouldn't be much easier on him than landing back-first.

Major didn't quite get the landing of the Sunset Flip Powerbomb just right, and a shock shot through his body as he landed hard on his tailbone. The shock, combined with the fierce pins and needles sensation that followed, caused him to release his grip on his opponent and flop over onto his side.

After waiting a few moments for the tingling in his extremities to subside, the champ would then slowly start crawling around to position himself to attempt to hook the challenger's far leg and go for a cover attempt.

Ding ding ding

Once the bell sounded and his music began blaring over the arena speakers, Major Devastation rolled off of his fallen opponent and dragged himself over to the ramp in order to pull himself up and lean against it, since his legs were still a bit rubbery after the hard landing. When he finally got steady on his feet again, the ringside attendant came rushing over to the base of the stage with the title belt in hand while the referee raised the victorious champion's hand high after his successful title defense.

"Here is your winner, and STILL the SCW International Champion...MAJOR DEVASTATION!!!"

With his championship firmly in his hands, Devastation staggered over to the base of the ramp, and raised the belt overhead with both hands as he backed up the ramp toward the tunnel.
