The contest was to make a cake that looked like any type of food. This cake was a blast to make and I'm super happy I participated and even happier that I won. Also, someone bought that cake for thirty bucks, which just amazes me to no end.

Lately I cannot get enough of slow-baked mushroom pork chops. heart

I get chops and sear them on both sides with salt and pepper. Put them in a pan then add a buttload of mushrooms and carrots on top. Then whip up a mushroom cream sauce and pour that on top of everything. Cover with foil and bake for a coupla hours...oh, it's so good. The sauce is so yummy on mashed potatoes.
