Hi everyone! I go by Dearpie online and I make rat hammocks in Arizona. LOL You can see my stuff at www.dearpiehammocks.com . I don't sew anything else, as I don't have time, or the gumption! Oh, I'll make the occassional pajama pants for my daughter.
Ok, the BEADED PROM DRESS is simply AMAZING!!!!! And the Renn Faire garb!! Your daughter is very lucky!!! All the other things I'm been looking at too, are all soooo nice!! It's wonderful to see what others make. I just don't have the patience to get involved with other sewing projects. But I've got a bedroom completely FULL of fabric for the rats ... and that's no exaggeration! redface

Hey! My name is Jenn, within the next couple of months I'll be living in Seattle, WA. I'm an advid everything-er. I've made pillows, hoop dresses, pantaloons, quilts, knit hats scarves etc i paint and draw. Just about anything artsy, I try smile I'm pretty basic in all of those things though. Especially quilting. I'm getting better with knitting, and can make pantaloons like no bodies business haha thats the dress I made, second from the left is me smile I am kneeling, but the dress just continues into a full hoop skirt. I'm also a full throttle theater kid who loves gore makeup. this is pretty mild compared to what i usually do. This is my friend Katie sans any blood. (FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE, Obviously? haha) http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o309/amenandallthatcal/bloodespressogore.jpg

age: 20 location: Nova Scotia,Canada fabric craft(s) of choice: Sewing (mostly pillows as of late, would love to learn clothing just haven't found any large enough pieces of material I like enough yet), plastic canvas, i've done cross stitching put only the ones with patterns printed onto them (would love to do my own pattern sometime though, as i also love to draw)..that's all I can think of for now but i'm sure there is probably more skill level: beginner to intermediate past projects: Barbie clothing (I no longer have this), stuffed animal (from family studies, but is at my parent's house so I can't get pictures), and pillows (which I will get pictures of when i'm not being lazy) current projects: a pillow which I forgot at my parent's house also I do not much enjoy sewing with a machine, so most of the things I sew are entirely hand stitched. I occasionally do things on a machine at my grandmothers but I myself don't have one, so it's just as well I like hand stitching better. here are the pillows: the reason they are partially cut off is that my camera screen broke a while ago, and it doesn't have a view finder...actually I'm surprised I did this well on the first try.

Hi! I'm Peppy and I'm 17 years old! I've been sewing since I was 14 and have gotten much better since then! My favorite fabric to sew with is fleece and I'm not daring enough to make my own clothes yet, though I really want to considering I am a cosplay nerd! I live in North Carolina with my million other siblings and let me tell ya, it's gets hectic! I Sew, crochet, cross stitch, embroider, and just well, a little bit of everything except drawing LOL! Currently, I'm working on my costume for the AnimeFest in Dallas, Texas and hats and plushies to sell in my online stores.

Welcome Peppy! If you're nervous about making your own clothes, maybe start with a fleece jacket to warm you up to it--since you love fleece and it's so easy to work with.
