I've been listening to my Roykscopp Melody A.M. cd, from start to finish at least once every night for the past week and I've come to the conclusion that this cd is the perfect soundtrack to my life for the past week. Between shots of brandy and cough syruyp I have deduced that all of my problems can be solved if I only.... I could remember what they were.

This week's winner was the Decemberists - Castaways and Cutouts. Last week's winner was Royskopp - Melody A.M. For this week I'm leaning towards Sigur Ros - Takk. But I might just get Death Cab For Cutie's newest cd Plans. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? heart ninja pirate

Thanks for the suggestions Linen. I will investigate all three bands. I need some new indie stuff to listen to. I hope that you will be able to survive 10 days without booze. But just think of how much better it will taste, when you can finally drink again. heart ninja pirate

This weeks winner was Imogen Heap - Speak for Yourself. It looks like there will be several new releases before the years end including Metic - Live it Out. But the only suggestions that I have received recently have been from White Linen. So where have all of the rest of you been hiding question Is Linen the only one out there going to shows question heart ninja pirate

Today was not a good day for music shopping. I really wanted to get Metric's new cd 'Live It Out', but my favorite music store didn't have it in stock. scream So I decided that I would check out some Infected Mushroom. But they didn't have any of their cds. scream I was getting very frustrated so I finally settled on Death Cab For Cuties new cd 'Plans'. It is better than I expected so at least that's something. But I think that I am going to talk to the store manager about this out of stock situation. Its not like there aren't a half a dozen other music/book stores within a 5 mile radius of where I live. But I really like the atmosphere of Streetlight Records, so I guess that I will keep going back there. heart ninja pirate
