Adam and Amelia Amelia smiled down at the Kitten.
"Exactly. It'll be new and exciting. The perfect place to start anew."
Adam was still frowning as they walked. Seeing the castle just reminded him why they had to leave the land they had lived, about what all he had witnessed and all that had scarred him.

Katty glanced back at Adam again and felt sorry to see his frowning face.Her ears raised with an idea. In an attempt to lighten the mood, she tapped against the bag's side. "A won. A too. A woon, too free." She stopped, taking a deep breath. It seemed like she was trying to cram as much air in to her lungs as she could. "If... you happy an you know it, clap your hands." She looked around at her company expectantly.

Adam and Amelia Amelia smiled and clapped her hands. She then joined in on the next verse.
"If you're happy and you know it and you really want to show it, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands!"
She looked back at her twin where he walked with the cheshire cat. He rolled his eyes and clapped half-heartedly, a small smile turning the corners of his lips.

Amelia's spirit encouraged Katty, and she decided to start the next part. "If you happy and you know it...uh...uh..." She looked up as if the sky would give her some answer. "uh... clap your hans again?" She said suggestively. A glimpse of pink near Adam gave her an idea. "Wait, nuff clapping. Chesire ca...er...lady, how bout you sing dat song about nome-waths?

"The song that Chesh sings is actually the first stanza of the poem Jabberwocky... I do wonder why Chesh sings it," Caterpillar mentioned, looking between the trees. "I know the entire poem; it is ancient... I could recite it for you if you wish." He thought it might be a good idea for everyone to know it anyway. "Should I?"

The White RabbitThe Rabbit quickened his pace at the mention of the Jabberwocky. He had once come across the creature while serving the Queen, it was not a creature he wanted to come across again, "Oh don't even mention that horrible beast..." He hated for a moment that he was a killjoy, but he would rather be that then hear a whole poem about it. Especially if it had any relation to the Cheshire Cat. It was just another reason to hate the creature. Mallymkun Dormouse Mally tilted her head back at the song. She slightly laughing at the sudden cheerful vibe of the group, under a chase it was the last mood she would suspect. When she inspected closer she saw a tiny kitten nussled in the bag of Amelia. Before she had heard the soft grumbles of a creature about fruit, and she suspected it was her.
She suddenly remembered that she had something that the cat might enjoy. She rumaged through her pocket as she walked over to Amelia. She smiled at the Kitten in the bag as she opened her hands to her, "Here Kitten, I thought you might like this." In her hands she held a ripe forest peach that's skin almost glowed in the sun's rays.

Caterpillar smiled and stopped walking for a moment; he did so love to recite poetry. "This poem takes place on the island that everyone now seeks, I so believe you should all hear it... inacase any of you seek the Sword," He said, wishing he could smoke his hookah while reciting... but that was out of the question for now.
"`Twas brillig, and the slithy Toves
Did gyre and gimble in the Wabe:
All mimsy were the Borogoves,
And the Mome Raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his Vorpal Sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the Tulgey Wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The Vorpal Blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy Toves

Once he had finished reciting; the woods had seemed to grow darker and colder. Caterpillar looked at everyone. "Some think it nonsense... but it has meaning. Any questions?" He asked, continuing onwards again; they'd reach the border lands in a while.
((OOC: Rabbit couldn't of met the Jabberwock, it was slain probably over a thousand years ago... on the island where Tulgey Wood is. XD Remember this isn't to do with Burton's movie; I have different plans for the Jabberwock's character.))

Adam and Amelia Amelia smiled as she listened to the Oracle recite the poem. They had talked about it before. She thought about something.
"The poem never spoke of a girl, I wonder if a female can even own the Vorpal Sword."
Adam would never tell anyone, but this was his favorite poem. It was full of adventure with a triumph over evil at the end. It was everything he had hoped for and still secretly believed in.

"The Vorpal Sword itself knows who the wielder should be; the poem speaks of the original wielder long ago," Caterpillar replied but after a while stopped walking again, he looked around for a moment and then turned to the others.
"We are very close to the borderlands... just beyond here. Who knows what state it is in," He himself wished to know exactly what the Looking-Glass Gate was like at the moment; but while still in the woods that was impossible. "If I metamorphosize... I could fly above the woods and get a good view of the borderlands..."

Adam and Amelia Amelia nodded in understanding. She smiled at the Dormouse, for giving the Kitten a peach. Then she heard what the caterpillar said about flying up. She sent a mental scan out to make sure there was no one that might hurt him in the air.
"I don't sense anything dangerous, Oracle. That would be a great idea"
Adam thought about the Vorpal Sword. He had no desire to gain leadership of the wonderlands. If anything he thought Amelia would be a good fair leader. Someone who was kind and still able to be fair. He shook his head as though shaking out those thoughts. He looked around the perimeter and saw nothing coming.
"Whatever you decide Oracle, you should hurry, we shouldn't stay in one place too long."

"Of course," Caterpillar said calmly. He closed his eyes for a moment; he hadn't metamorphosized for quite a while, especially in his human form as the process was a little different. Two long antennae were the first things to appear, they stretched out and then curled slightly at the tips; and then quite slowly his butterfly wings emerged, unfolding themselves to their full wingspan and patterns of brilliant blue.
He then opened his eyes and waited for a moment; his antennae sensing his surroundings more efficiently than he could when a caterpillar. "Wait here," Caterpillar, who indeed still preferred to be called Caterpillar in this form, flew upwards and out of sight into the treetops.
He flew quite high and before him lay the borderlands... but not as he remembered them. The signs of battle were everywhere and the Looking-Glass Fence loomed beyond. However from what he could sense... only Cards were around; it seemed they had arrived during a lull, as there was no fighting going on at the moment.
