Tomas' arm around her waist was warm and comforting. She was sad for a moment when he had to let go to make tea. She sat down in a comfortable chair and invited Seth to sit down in one as well.

Seth removed his sword belt and placed it on the floor before he sat down. "So Sabel, how long have you lived around here?"
Tomas started a fire in the stove and placed a kettle of water on it to boil. He took out three tea cups and placed them on the counter. He then walked back out to the main room and sat on the floor by Sabel.

Sabel smiled, "I've lived on the outskirts of the forest ever since I can remember, and Sam has been with me since I was about...two?"
Yep, that's about right. Sam confirmed.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's your story Seth?"

Seth looked down at his hands. "I was born at the castle, when I turned 15 I became Nick's squire...I've hated my father ever since he started his 'Quest for the Rose'."

Seth nodded. "But I'll stop him before he gets the chance.."
The kettle whistled and Tomas went into the kitchen. He came back with two cups of tea. He handed on to Sabel and the other to Seth.
"Thanks.."
Do you remember Michael, Tomas...?
I do..why?
He's still alive...

Sabel saw Tomas' expression show shock for a fraction of a second. It was so quick she could have easily believed she hadn't really seen it. "Tomas, what is it, are you okay?"

Follow me into the kitchen..I'll tell you there... Tomas turned around and went back into the kitchen.
Seth gave Tomas a look, but shook his head and took a sip of tea.

Michael...the first king of Sliverwood...the one who started the seach for Rose almost 700 years ago...is somehow still alive...Felix is a desendent of him...that means we have to kill him and Felix...

700 years...Why would he need to search for Rose is he's lived 700 years? He must have found another way to become immortal...He shouldn't be a threat to Rose anymore...right?Sabel gave Tomas a quizzical look.

Tomas sighed and leaned against the counter. We have to kill him...he could tell Felix where Rose is...Michael went through Rose's portal 700 years ago...he could do it again...

Sabel nodded.
Seth could take me and I could be your eyes. Sabel can see what I see through my eyes. No one will notice an extra cat around the palace or Seth could say he'd taken a liking to me and wanted to keep me as a pet. Sam twitched his tail in annoyance at the word pet. He despised the idea of being thought of as someones pet.
