I don't get tournament players. They act like playing with items on is a sin. ._.

Nomad Realta I don't get tournament players. They act like playing with items on is a sin. ._. To quote Sakurai or Nate Bihrdolff (one of NoA's head translators)-- "Real men use items." So yeah, I do agree with that statement (and yours as well). Smash was never intended to be a game like Street Fighter, and it never has been. The best moments in Smash come from all of the crazy chaos, and that's what makes it so fun to play.

Yeah! Besides, pelting somebody with an item just as they're about to attack you is the best!

They also act like it's completely illogical to play with Friendly fire off. IF YOUR TEAMMATE KEEPS KILLING YOU, TURN FRIENDLY FIRE OFF AND STOP COMPLAINING!

Lebia They also act like it's completely illogical to play with Friendly fire off. IF YOUR TEAMMATE KEEPS KILLING YOU, TURN FRIENDLY FIRE OFF AND STOP COMPLAINING! I never understood the point of friendly fire. In a open-range game like some FPS or whatever, it could be fun for the laughs. But in a game like Smash friendly fire makes no sense.
You're GONNA hit your teammate, and probably kill them. No matter WHAT you do. At that point then, how the hell is the game different from a standard brawl?
...there's two or three winners instead of 1? Yeah, BUT THE OTHERS ARE DEAD. So there's still only one. They don't have that wreath thing for a reason (Best player on the team). So in the end, it's still the same result.

Friendly fire is funnier in brawl than in FPS because your teammates won't catch you when you do it on purpose.
...I still don't play with friendly fire on.

Items. i personally like items, and DO agree that smash is a party game, but NOOOOOO my friend insists that its a fighting game.... >.> 3. Friendly fire is to "balance" the game if two people fight fight, and other two also, and you accidently punch your buddy, hes gonna get hurt. but its a good thing!!! watch this vid, it shows you how its good! x3 Teamwork is a Beutifull ThingOkay to help you guys heres a Simple Kirby GuideFor those who like going all out, and wanting to know EVERYTHING heres a in depth Kirby GuideI refuse to put in a meta knight one for he is Friggen cheap and broken. I'm pretty sure everyone here already knows how to play as Kirby. (I just don't know the weird tourny terminology.)

No. Or to make it more Realistic... Because in real life if you hit your friend their ganna get hit biggrin *Slap'd* No! Bad...

akatsuki_person_member Nomad Realta I'm pretty sure everyone here already knows how to play as Kirby. (I just don't know the weird tourny terminology.) By guide i mean a guide to his moves, you make your own playstyle.... >.> People can figure out moves on their own, looking at a page of text just makes the transition to knowing the moves harder. Besides, the instructional booklet already has the moves in there.
"Gudies" are usually, "do this move and this move and blah blah blah, and then profit!" Not really a move-list, more of a, "you suck, we're gonna teach you how to play." ...and I personally loathe that kind of thing. And yeah, the second link you provide? Totally that.
