There was a gentle, muffled groan from the bed, and a shifting of position. Other than that, Adrien lay completely still, like the undead corpse he truely was, when in reality, his mind was restless.

Ariai watched Clifford hurry off to aid his child, and nodded to herself. She had yet to sire someone of her own. Pity...and she was getting old too. Ariai pursed her full lips into a cute pout. Not fair. Not fair at all. She looked up when she heard Adrien stir on the bed. He wasn't moving, but she could tell he was disturbed and restless. "No need to pretend," she said softly. "You can get up. I can even get something to eat for you if you're hungry." She stopped after she said this. They themselves had offered him something to drink, and he had ended up as a vampire. How would he react to this offer? If he felt murderous...she could always run for it. Ariai tensed, waiting for his answer. If there even was an answer.

~(I feel like I'm being ganged up on crying My poor Deimos ~strokes his loverly hair~ I still wuv you. And I cry at the length of Liek's appearance. Haha. Yes, I am doing research so I can post properly! xd )~
As the hot blood poured from the mortal woman's pierced neck, Deimos could feel the scar on his arm melting away. In his rage, he most likely would have killed Faith if it had not been for the two of his kin that he sensed approach. Now was not the time to reveal his plans. The vampire sadly withdrew his face from the soft neck of his prey as he greeted his kin with his ice blue orbs.
Both of his visitors had hair darker than his own raven locks, and the female sported jade eyes while the male had golden ones. Such exotic and pale looking creatures they were. A smile crept across his tanned face. Licking Faith's cheek slowly, he left a small trail of blood on her face. "My lovelies," he said, referring to his fellow demons, "Surely we know that to feed and then slay our meals is in bad taste. Do I appear to be one of these rapscalians who know not the ways of our kin?"
His words were spoken in a charming and elegan fashion. In all of his three hundred and twenty five years of 'living', Deimos had found that speaking in such a way was generally the best to start off. If needed, the enoby-haired male would retreat to where he hoped that these vampires would not follow him.

((Aww, poor Kari! She was so excited to come help too!))
Faith's hand clawed at the one covering her mouth. The initial pain was subsiding as her blood flowed out the wound on her neck. The woman was only partially aware that two others had arrived at the scene, the second sounding vaguely familiar. Her eyes were slightly glazed as her hand fell almost limply from the hand covering ehr mouth.
The two new arrivals were trying to save her. She was so grateful that someone out there was watching over her. At the moment, she wanted nothing more than to snuggle up in her warm bed and to sleep away the Hellish memories of the night.
She let a soft half moan escape her lips as he kicked her cheek. A moan was all she could muster of her terror. She knew it would come off as though she enjoyed it but she wasn't. There just nothing else she could do.

"Lets just say this human holds a special interest for me. I said nothing of you trying to kill her now did I? Why would you think I would dare such a thing?" Clifford said very smoothly as the man's words belied his true intention. He took another step forward still looking at this vampire cooly. "I suggest for tonight you leave here."

Liek watched the man and stepped forward towards him, looking up into his eyes curiously. "Why would you feed on her, when there's a haven right there?" She asked her face right up to his, or as well as it could be on her tip-toes. She dipped her head down and licked the bite marks gently to help the healing process of them before moving up and licking the blood from her cheek. She gently took hold of the human female, looking at the other vampire steadily, waiting for him to release her so that she could return the female to Clifford. Then maybe she could continue to talk with this one. He seemed interesting.

Reluctantly, Adrien opened an eye, gazing up at the being beside him through a fogged glaze of tears. He didn't want to be awake - he wanted to sleep forever. But he would never be granted that, not unless someone killed him. He didn't want to leave this world on a note like that.
"I want to avenge my parents," he whispered, his voice hoarse. "Be I a monster or not, I shall avenge them. They deserve that much of their son..."

Deimos smiled at the golden-eyed male as he let Faith fall into the care of the jade orbed woman. He had had enough to heal his arm, which was all that mattered for now. Turning to the other male, he bowed his head and said, "Forgive me, it was wrong of me to assume such a thing of you. But it has been my experience that when approached during a meal by another of our kin, they believe me to be killing the poor mortals. Again, forgive me." The demon raised his head and smiled.
Turning his head now to the beauty of death closest to him, the blooddrinker gave her a soft, warm smile. "Is there? I wish I had known. I have only just arrived in town tonight, and was so famished that the hunger overtook my senses. This poor little darling was the closest meal I could find to tide me over until I had found such an institution." The dark-haired demon gently carassed Faith's short red hair. Leaning in close to her ear, he whispered, "I am sorry we had to meet in such a manner, my kitten."

Clifford didn't like this one. He was trying to hard to be charming and suave. "Liek maybe you could show this gentleman around to the hevans of town while I help Ms Anderson into her home. I'm sure that you would be the most help to him." The elder vampire then gave Liek the smallest of smiles because he knew that she would take care around this man. That and he could always tell when something was wrong with her. After being seperated from her after her turning he made his bond to her extra strong on his end.

Adri Neru Reluctantly, Adrien opened an eye, gazing up at the being beside him through a fogged glaze of tears. He didn't want to be awake - he wanted to sleep forever. But he would never be granted that, not unless someone killed him. He didn't want to leave this world on a note like that.
"I want to avenge my parents," he whispered, his voice hoarse. "Be I a monster or not, I shall avenge them. They deserve that much of their son..." Ariai gazed at him steadily. "When someone loses a loved one because of murder, it's very hard to take, and naturally the person is in want of revenge, not caring who killed, or even if it was an accident." She fingered the hem of her sleeve, trying to decide what she would say next. "I must admire you for perservering. But rushing into revenge blindly...it will only lead to the possibility that you will die before achieving your goal. We will find the vampires who killed your parents, but you must trust me and my companions, because you won't get very far if you don't."

Faith inhaled sharply as the woman Vampire licked at the wounds on her neck and the blood on her cheek. She didn't know why there were so many of them around her. Her city wasn't supposed to have strange creatures. Of course, it defeated the purpose of her job but that's how it'd always been. Her eyes drifted shut as she tried to block out Deimos' final words to her. She wanted to be taken soemwhere safe. She wanted to sleep.

Adrien flinched visably, turning his head away to try and hide the tears that formed in his eyes. "Now that I know what you are, and know what did this to me and my family...I don't think I want your help..." He paused for a moment, taking his time to wipe away the stray tears. "But...I don't think I can avenge my parents alone. Despite how I feel about you and your kind, I suppose I cannot be rude to those who give me help so willingly. Thank you, for that."
He rolled over on his other side completely, burying his face into the pillow, to silently weep for his dead parents, what he was selling his soul for to avenge them, and what would happen to him in the near future. He was certain he would succeed in his quest, but at what price? What would he have to do in order to achieve vengence?

Calli sighed. It seemed the information she had been planning to deliver had already been discovered. It didn't matter. At least the human would be safe. Georg seemed to be off in his own little world and she was feeling hungry. She entered the Haven and sat at the bar before ordering a cup of the special tea with some chocolate biscotti. She pondered the night's happenings. It would do no good for her to follow anybody else right now. Best for her to wait until the action reached her.
