heh, sounds like a plan.
Now has anyone seen the movie clerks? I picked up a copy today and was wondering if I should know anything before I watched. (ps I watched and enjoyed mallrats and dogma, but not chasing amy or jay and silent bob strike back)

I was not a big fan of the movie clerks as it is the most crass of the films by Kevin Smith. I would say it is most similar to Mallrats and Chasing Amy but it is hard to compare to the others as the subsequent films had budgets. Also I would add that while I was not a fan of the movie (save for the Star Wars discussions) I did like the animated series.
On a continued movie night I saw Shaun of the Dead last night and if you are into the horror spoof genre it is certainly worth the money. wink Nothing quite like a romantic comedy about fighting zombies.
I also picked up Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and watched that for the second time. Very good film that one. whee
And I appologize for the long post but I also must add that ewok sniping for fun and profit is incredibly amusing. 3nodding

Well I recommend both when you get the chance. wink
And for more good movies, I picked up Strange Brew and the Shawshank Redemption anniversary disc last night. Haven't had a chance to watch Shawshank again, but I did revisit Strange Brew for the first time in a while. Beauty movie, eh? wink

Ah good call there. Of course that is just my opinion, since I own K-Pax as well and barely made it through Clerks. 3nodding

I am sure you have time Atsu, it is just consumed by other pursuits. 3nodding
Anyway, I saw Garden State last night. Interesting movie with some thoughtful writing and a great sound track. I had meant to see it earlier, but it takes awhile for indie films to play down here. sweatdrop

My friends tried to get me to see that too, but I declined. Something about it just made me want to pass, I think it was the puppet sex. xp

Yeah, something about that movie just kind of disturbs me. I doubt I'll get around to seeing it either.

On a happier note I watched Tron again the other night. It was fun to see how non geeks who had never seen it reacted to the film's visionary artwork and story, but nowehere near as enjoyable as a viewing with fellow fans of the movie.
